I love Waterstones. It's one of my favourite shops of all time. They gave amazing selection of books, games, gifts, and notebooks. Sometimes their stuff can be quite pricey but it's worth it. They have a cafe upstairs but I've not actually been up there yet. They have a lot of great sales on now, I suppose it's because Christmas is around the corner. I've not been in for a while but now they also have a lot more guided style notebooks that prompt you to write about certain things. For example meditation, health, happiness, mindfulness, or fitness. I think they are pretty cool. There's also an entire table full of Harry Potter stuff! There's colouring books, wands, puzzles, big special edition illustrated versions of some of the novels, and even additional books from the films like The Tales of Beedle the Bard. Great Christmas presents for any true Harry Potter fan. One thing that bothers me is I really want a couple of plain small notebooks but I couldn't find any small cheap ones to my liking. There are some two and three pack ones but they all have stupid designs or hideous colours. Or what happens is I like 1 of the 2 or 1 of the 3 but not the others which is very frustrating. Waterstones you need mix n match notebooks!!!!!

Voted one of the most beautiful bookstores in the UK. It's situated near the town centre in the old wool exchange building. A quaint coffee shop presides upstairs and allows the slow digestion of a good book over a nice cup of coffee and cake. Nice place to get some study done or to unwind from the days chores. Recommended.

Really love Waterstones, go in a lot to buy my grandchildren books as well as myself, they love to browse around.

Prices are high, books are tattered. Staff are thin on the ground. Queued for ages to buy a book. Gave up, put it back, wandered up to Oxfam and bought an two almost identical photography books in better condition, used for less than half the price. But hey, the cafe is great.
