Went in Saturday afternoon, my 8y/o girl wanting a book and it was super busy. Also had a grumpy 13y/o boy and a 77y/o gran, can you imagine my stress... Que a mile long just wanted to get out of there. Upon paying the woman behind the counterwish id of got her name was absolutely lovely, no rushing, had a word with 8y/o about how good the chosen book was, even recommending one for grumpy THEN going to find it, resulting with a now happy teen, happy girl and gran was still wondering enjoyable shopping just need more space..

Great atmosphere and a huge selection. Being able to hold a book before buying helps me decide if I want it or not.

Lots of different books. Great collection. Lately my daughter has collected all Heartstopper volumes. We have pre ordered one. There is games to purchase at a reasonable price arount the till area.

Love Waterstones, bit smaller retail in Huddersfield but you can order in store if not in the shop. Need to keep book stores going but I'm a avid reader and do love to browse.

The staff are always nice and make you feel welcome. The store is always decorated nicely, good atmosphere

I adore this bookshop. The shelves are neatly organised so it's easy to find a specific book quickly but they also have tables set out for browsing. The staff go above and beyond to help you out. For example, when I bought one of the Bridgerton series, the lady at the counter informed me there was a spin-off series and printed out the titles of them all. It was super helpful and a lovely gesture. This is my go-to shop in Huddersfield.
