One of the best bookstores I have ever been to. Very spacious and beautiful, great collection of books and friendly staff. They also have a cafe on the 2nd floor where you can sit down and read your favorite books in peace. Love it, will definitely come back again and again
They're was neither water or stones but there was lots of book though which work out nicely as that is what my spouse was looking to purchase. The staff were most pleasant and accommodating. My wife was given a free coffee once her transaction was completed, which would have only been bettered if it accompanied by a slice of corned beef or a couple of ounces of fresh tripe. The selection of books were plentiful and the categories were well signposted, like a very effective Lollypop lady.
Large branch with a good little café on the first floor. Shop does have a customer lift. Pleasant, friendly staff. Met the rather wonderful Kevin Sinfield at his book signing session. What a lovely, genuine and very special person this man is. Both he and Rob Burrows are heroes and leading lights. We need more souls like Kev and Rob in this battered, old world, what a utopia that would be. Thank you, Sir Kev, for all that you do and are. And Waterstones are OK too!
A great destination if you are a reader or if you want to purchase a tutorial book. They have a cafe in first floor and a whole section for children. Staff are friendly, helpful and very respectful. I found out that they also have loyalty card. Given the fact that books are a little pricy here this loyalty card might not be worth it but it is nice to see they keep up and try everything possible with their customer relation.
A really good book store with three levels filled with all different types of books. This is a great spot to get any books you are after and the staff are friendly and helpful, if they do not have a book in stock they will happily order it in for you at no extra cost.
One of the best Waterstones with well stocked fiction section, delicious food and drink area and a massive children/ young adult book area. There’s also chairs in nooks for you to sit and read the books. Great place for bibliophiles!
I like to visit Waterstones in whatever place I visit, because I know that there will be a great variety of books and other products available. This branch in Leeds is very warm and welcoming and as expected was busy, but there’s a good amount of floor space and displays are well planned so it didn’t feel crowded. I love the beautiful staircase leading up to the first floor!
A very beautiful and spacious bookstore offering a vast selection of books. It's a true pleasure to get lost among the shelves, given the varied and abundant collection. A must-visit for book lovers.
Awesome book shot. It’s set over several levels and has a plethora of choice. It’s huge. There’s a lot of seating around and it’s widely accepted that people will sit and read in there. It’s a lovely Waterstones! If this was useful, give it a ‘like’ so others find it
I love visiting a new Waterstones when I visit to a new city, Leeds is no exception. The grand staircase as you walk up is very often just over looked as stairs to a new level. The cafe is always busy, but in the quite calm you only get in a book store. A great selection of books, all easily organised and the staff have always been friendly and full of advice and recommendations.
