Great shop, very clean and tidy, and have a big choice of books. Recently got into the Penguin Classics and I am pleased they have quite a big variety of them. I was served by a lovely woman wish I had the name, as she was so nice today, very friendly and polite, and asked if I had a loyalty card wasn't asked at the Folkestone store. I had paid £10 in loose change and the woman didn't make me feel bad for doing so. Overall it was lovely to have such a friendly experience. Thank you!
Amazing place with a lots of interesting books and gifts to buy, location in County Square in the Town Cetre. Highly recommended.
Nice book shop, plenty of choices and books are easy to find. Staff are easy to approach, very friendly and helpful too.
I used to work at Ashford Waterstones between 2010 to 2015, so it has a fond place in my heart. Layout is pretty much the same, few sections have moved about but the whole atmosphere remains. Selection has always been pretty good for its size, and staff are always very friendly and happy to help.
The starving my local waterstones are amazing I quite often have to go to Ashford for things because they sold out of Folkestone and I cannot fault the star for Ashford either so polite and helpful and they always seem to know what I need or want now that's good customer service

When I went there last, the staff were very helpful and they helped me find the book I wanted but it was a little expensive so that took off a star. Good shop though, very comfortable and safe. Smells like books too.
