Me and my husband went to the waterside on Wednesday night, 9th May. We had our dog with us, who was under the table. The lady came and cleaned the table nxt to us, which had lots of peas and other food on. She wiped the table and all the peas etc went on the floor! Most of the peas ended up on my husbands lap! The main reason I'm complaining is that our dog, who has a sensitive tum ate what was on the floor! There were other dogs there.. So, perhaps if you read this comment the tables will be cleaned better.

Absolutely love this place, a must every time we are in the area. Food spot on, staff friendly & beer well kept.

Worst pub food ive ever had food at. Staff were kind of friendly but pushy tring to get you to order starters side dishes and deserts. Drinks tasted watered down, stakes were small grizzly and overcooked. Peas were cold fries were greasy and looked liked they'd either been kept warm or recooked. Bill came to almost £40 for 3 meals and 3 drinks which we harldy touched we would have made a complaint but the smell from the toilets was wafting across in our direction and just wanted to leave. Wouldn't recommend and will never return. Unsatisfactory and felt completely ripped off.

Comfortable, very welcoming, good service & tasty meals. Large portions so you need a good appetite. If you go for a 'Mega 'portion you'll end up taking half home with you or have to share!
