A real nice surprise. We had a walk around the lakes and enjoyed a lovely meal whilst looking out at the beautiful surroundings. Very warm welcome.

Beautiful place, very quiet, but watch out for potholes!! Lakeside is gorgeous but of course comes with mud - even in summer...!! George Hotel nearby, approx. 15 min walk, very nice and extremely busy, nice pint but didn't have time to try the food.

Love this place so much! Go there at least once a year and it’s always amazing. There’s no WiFi in the log cabins so it’s good for an Internet detox

Great access to the railway cutting where you can walk with dogs, bike ride, horse ride. Cafe cheap and great quality food. Fishing lakes and caravan set up too.

A really good place for a breakfast treat. Several traditional offerings ranging from full English to 'you'll never eat all that' English. There sre also more 'exotic' and smaller options. Locally sourced farm ingredients add to the quality of the food
