Great place to visit staff are more than helpful I've known them years and it's more like going to visit friends, great choice of cold water and tropical fish which have some awesome colours. I like going for a walk around the Staunton Harold estate then dropping in to water works for a quick natter about breeding fish or even buying fish.

I have been a customer here for over 12 years now, and I never fail to return or will use another store to buy my tropical fish. 
Prices are good and the stock and choice of the fish is fantastic. 
I'd rather pay a tiny bit more to get quality healthy fish rather than other well know pet stores where the fish are bought in bulk quantity and sadly die within a few days after buying them!  
All of my fish have been excellent and I have never had any problems or lost any (only due to their maximum life expectancy)
These fish really do last. 
In fact, I moved to Skegness from Leicestershire a few years and when I came back home to visit my family and friends, I would even call in on my way back to Skegness to buy some tropical fish to take back with me.

Good early selection of pond plants and pond fish and pretty good prices. Check out the "high colour" ghost carp.

Has some good stock . But too far for me to warrant a return  visit.
I counted 60 small tanks for tropical fish.

Since we inherited our pond with the house we were complete pond novices! This shop, Waterworks,at Staunton Harold is absolutely brilliant! Whatever we have needed they have advised us on where to position things like preformed waterfall, fltration tank, fountain spray attached to pumps...and only a few weeks ago our filltration system broke down. We went over to waterworks and a very efficient smiley lady called Liz came over to help us. She knew all about the new Filtral System, which includes a pump. Brilliant! We asked when we would see the pond start to clear. She replied about 2 to 3 weeks. We thought Wow! that's quick. But after my husband had intsalled it, it was clear before the end of the first week. Excellent. We bought some new fish to celebrate as we could now see them. The plants were overgrown so we cut them right back and divided them.  We bought some new plants too and Plant Socks (latest idea instead of plastic crate type pots)and they were very cheap as it's the end of the season.
We never shop anywhere else for this sort of equipment. It's so reassuring to know that at least one shop left on this planet has assistants who genuinely know what they are talking about"
