Great range of pasties ranging through traditional, seasonal and vegetarian. Tried their sausage roll the other day, incredible taste, full of meat and fantastic pastry. Breakfast is also catered for, not had it yet. Selection of sandwiches which are made fresh daily. Cakes are so good, try the brownies. Only drawback is that they are a little pricy for a pastie shop, but worth it
Certainly a busy start for Mulberry Walk's latest opening. Looking forward to working my way through the excellent range of cakes, sandwiches, and of course, pasties over the coming weeks.
Love this shop and the staff, always pleasant and chatty. Great options for vegetarians and vegans! Lady said that they're introducing gluten free pasties soon as well. Really impressed with options. It's always buy one get one free too near closing time for all the penny pinchers in the comments complaining about prices. Jokes aside, very good value for money - you can't be out here expecting top quality baked goods at Greggs or Pukka Pies prices, come on...
Loved my vegan Thai pasty. Hubby loved his beef and Stilton. Sister was given the incorrect pasty but it was quickly changed when she spoke to the servers. Very busy till needs to be moved away from the front door, it gets so busy!
Two delicious large Cornish pasties to take away yesterday evening. Me and Cath enjoyed them with chip shop chips a delightful change from the usual fish Shall definitely be in to sample more of your tasty delights
After seeing all the press, we decided to try the bakery out. We bought 4 pasties from here and have to say they seem overpriced and rather average. Had very little filling and a lot of crust. What meat there was seemed to be mostly gristle. We won't be coming back, shame really.
Lovely to have a bakery here in mere green, however one of the girls couldn't tell me the difference between two types of breads a lady then stepped in and was v helpful Also - needs to be more bread and less tables I noticed there were just three types of bread - is it a bakery or a cafe Time will tell but good luck xx
I would give this a 5 STAR but the non meat options are not the best right now. Don't know what happened to the potato and cheese pasty was good. I'm sure you can come up with something better than just vegetable pasty?
Lovely cakes and coffee, service was great from a very polite young man called Ben , and a young lady called Kayleigh, who showed patience and kindness to an old gentleman by going above and beyond her job descriptiontion...
Been using this place for sometime but after the managers attitude towards customer service I decided to take my business elsewhere, she is under the impression that serving 3 day old bread is acceptable and normal practice, however if your going to trade as a bakery then make sure it’s fresh , if you can’t do that then at least be civilised, it’s a shame as with fresh produce and utilising the other staff who are polite and I believe in customer service then this business could be a winner
