A holiday of peace.but so many walks you can take from hear .my favour was along beside the old Weston railway that take you into watcher.then come back along by the water .back to our caravan .the camping field was great lovely views from hear. Walkability: Plenty of places to walk safely. Lovely views.
The pitch we chose was lovely and facilities are fine but I wouldn't use the swimming pool again. One point lost for piddly, lukewarm showerspretty much the number one thing people pay for at a campsite, one lost for rudeness at the swimming pool. During the family swimming session, my daughter7 was jumping into the deep end to try to gain confidence buy touching the bottom with her feet. The sign said "no diving". After about 5 jumpsshe was loving it, we were shouted at across the pool, "That's enough jumping! ". Apparently, you're only allowed a certain amount! Adult swimming is catered for during a "child free" session in the mornings. Also, the water quality was abysmal. Couldn't see more than a metre and bits floating around all over the place. Use of the swimming pool costs extra on top of pitch fees. Showers don't, anymore. Beautiful views across the bay and excellent access to the beach.
Great quiet retreat. Perfect for dog owners. Beach is very close but down a very steep hill and is mainly pebbles/rocks. Pool only open a couple of hours a day. Most caravans have sea view. WiFi and phone service limited.
Lovely campsite, reasonably priced and you don't need to book in advance. The only thing that lets it down are the showers that operate on a token basis, and each 20p token gives you less than 5 minutes, and you don't get a place to hang anything in the shower cubicle. I would have given 5 stars if it hadn't been for the showers...
Nice and quiet place. little pedestrian road goes straight to the beach. I havent tried the pool. Friendly staff, family business. This part of the country is very under rated, wild and fairly untouched. Watchet is a great little town with marina and fish and chips.
Oh wow! Returned after many years a place I used to camp with my own children, this time with grandchildren. It is really lovely great shower block and a peaceful location. Hoping to go again very soon loved it as always!
A great family run holiday village with good camping facilities and beautiful views over the Bristol Channel. Sunsets from the campsite hill stay in your memories! We have been coming back on family holidays for years. Highly recommended
I've been coming here for over 20 years, its lovely, no groups of teenagers or screaming kids, mainly friendly older people, nicely landscaped so you don't feel surrounded by caravans
Very pretty pebbles is a must for g &ts excellent walking. Pasties in watchets deli are yummy. Great walk into Watchet along the cliff top also the direction into blue anchor bay.
Fantastic site everything you need. Very clean and very friendly we loved it so much. The town is a short walk and again very friendly. Most of the pubs and cafes are also child and dog friendly.
