Doniford Bay Holiday Park
"Doniford Bay Holiday Park in Watchet, Somerset sits on the northern tip of the Quantock Hills on the county’s coast. There’s an array of activities to try, including a new climbing wall and jump tower, an indoor pool with slides, and an outdoor swimming pool, too. Café Bar and Grill is the place to be on park for all things food, Cook’s is magnificent for the seaside classic that’s fish and chips, and there’s an outdoor bar to keep you refreshed. The entertainment venue provides options throughout the day and evening, and there’s a whole host of activities for guests to try. Dogs are welcome, and there are beautiful areas surrounding the parks to be enjoyed – we recommend a walk into Doniford and its shingle beach."

Absolutely lovely place, great for families. The guy with the pony tail and great hat gave us the warmest welcome and everyone from the bar staff, waitresses especially Lauren to the performers were amazing, you can see how they all work so hard to make you enjoy your holiday. Will definitely be returning Thoroughly enjoyed by all of us, from my 43 year old partner to our 13 year old daughter. There is something for everyone. Also would like to say a big thank you to Haven for upgrading our caravan after having a few issues with the booking line. Would highly recommend taking a visit to St Audrey's Bay which is just an 8 minute drive away, has a beautiful hidden waterfall and a stunning beach with no rocks. By far the best beach in the area. One more tip.... if you are thinking of driving to Minehead Beach make sure you wear shoes and be very careful as the rocks are extremely sharp. Doniford Bay is beautiful but be aware that the beach is mainly stones and clay. Overall this was an fantastic holiday and would recommend to any family. Thank you again Haven and we hope to see you again.
Really glad we chose Doniford Bay. For us, it's the best. It's such a friendly place. Neatly place near the water's edge... Brilliant children's free play areas. I counted 4 play areas and Haven guests with children can relax because Haven is conscious of families with children and have great security. Lovely views as well. The club for the children has been planned out on one level so you're always aware of where the children are. The lovely bar and entertainment were staged with young families as well as us older folk in mind. Well done Haven
Just got back from an last minute weekend away. On arrival was greeted at the gate by a very nice guy with a funny hat which made us smile after a slow journey. Caravan was lovely. Notice all the staff seemed happy to be working there. Great swimming pool with outdoor slides. Eat in the restaurant and food was fine. Evening entertainment was good Only downside was most the free daytime entertainment seemed to be aimed at younger children. Plenty to do for older one but these cost extra
Lovely site, quiet, plenty of space between caravans. Pool is great especially when the outdoor pool and slide are open. The only downside is the booked craft activities. They're quite expensive and unfortunately the team members didn't really lead. The carers were left to pretty much supervise and complete. It would be better to have activities set up and team waiting to welcome and engage with children when they arrived in a purposful activity room, not just an add in to the soft play.
A good holiday camp it's clean well equipped accommodation. Grandchildren enjoyed the activities some of which was free. Chatty and friendly staff we were even given a pair of complimentary tickets for the the water gliders witch the grandchildren really enjoyed. Would love to go there again Playground: Play areas are good but could really do with being fenced in with a good gate.
Just got back from a lovely week. Great holiday park for families, my 7 year old loved the pool and slides, arcades, outdoor sand pit and the various activities he booked on to do. Friendly staff, clean and lots to do and see in the evening. Highly recommend sitting outside in the Box Bar in the evening and watching the sun set. Nice beach for fossil hunting or looking for crabs however we went to Minehead for the day for a sandy beach. Great location and lovely places to visit nearby. We stayed in a caravan on Otters Lake overlooking the lake so had the ducks make their appearance every morning! Will definitely return.
Nice little park, although some of it looks a little tatty and abandoned in places. The entertainment is what you would expect at a Haven site: great for the kids. Prices eye-watering as usual for drinks, but that comes as no surprise. A brilliant fish and chip place called Cooks. Lovely food and good value too, much better than the ott prices in the restaurant. The facilities are pretty dated. The restaurant is basically a cafeteria, no soft seating, just lines of tables and chairs. Caravan was fine, if small, nice and clean. Could park by the caravan too, which was a bonus. Good break.
A beautifully well kept caravan park. Unbelievably clean, picture perfect and the staff go above and beyond. The small entertainment crew here gave a proper holiday feel, better and more so than the small army of staff at butlins over the last few years. Really looking forward to going back there. Park ,beach and farm walks all on site, shop, chippy n restaurant all on hand. Top marks all round
Recently back from Doniford Bay. Lovely small haven park with all the usual entertainment. Staff in reception and security really Lovely and helpful and seem genuinely happy to work there . Had a saver caravan which was immaculately clean and comfortable and of a high standard. Beautiful area and my 2 year old loved the beach .. even though there is no sand. Perfect place for a quiet few days away . Has a genuinely lovely feel there . Would you back tomorrow if I didn't have to work
Everything you need for an action packed children's holiday, lovely indoor and outdoor pools with water slides, aqua gliders and inflatable obstacle course, climbing wall, crazy golf, lots of play areas and beach access. Modern well equipped clean caravans and well maintained grounds. All the usual evening entertainment and arcades with onsite bar restaurant and fish n chip shop, would visit again and highly recommend
