How this lot are still in business is a mystery to me!  From my experience, they only pay out on inexpensive claims, and use very clever jargon to wriggle out of anything else.  I personally was left with a £1500 bill before Xmas that this lot refused to pay out on using all sorts of excuses for not doing so - in the end I paid for it myself as needed the car back.  I was given the policy when I bought the car, but I should have known something was wrong when Warrantywise were in immediate contact trying to convince me to ‘upgrade’ to a much more expensive cover level.  Even then, I’ve seen reviews from people with the highest level of cover that have been told they’re not covered for something. The wear and tear clause means they can get out of almost anything if they choose to.  Truly disgusting and I wonder how these people sleep at night - shame on you, Quentin Wilson, for endorsing them.

A quick Google search (trust pilot etc) will make it seem that these guys are five star heroes, but really drill down into those positive reviews and you’ll notice that a lot of them have been given at the point of taking the warranty out - not the important bit when it comes to making a successful claim!  Seriously avoid at all costs as this lot are Jekyll and Hyde in business form - happy, helpful and polite when selling you a policy; rude, angry and aggressive when it comes to trying to make a claim.  

My advice is use someone bigger like the AA - a huge, nationally recognised business that actually cares about both its customers and its own reputation.

competitively priced, but unlike the others, they tell you exactly what will be covered. I recently had to claim  & they settled very fast & without fuss. Best bet for extended warranties, I think. Also, if you sell your car, they bank unused months for 3 years & credit against your next warranty. Can't be fairer than that

Their big claim is "No Weasel Words". Before you take out a warranty with this shower, you must check their list of exclusions. It is HUGE, and many are extremely disingenuous. You don't need weasel words when you can legitimately and easily refuse nearly any claim. Save your money and put it towards any potential future repairs. Unless your engine blows up right in front of one of their engineers, they will find a way to decline your claim. UPDATE: WW, following a strong email from me, agreed to a goodwill payment of £300 towards my £950 bill, so I have added an extra star. I would still not bother with an extended warranty again, though.

Bought car with a Warrantywise Warranty with all paperwork including receipt for car detailing warranty given. less than 3 Months after purchase alternator went on car. Rang Warrantywise who informed me warranty had been cancelled by dealer. I contacted dealer who said he would sort it out. He did not and then ignored my calls. I contacted warrantywise who said they would investigate. I heard nothing then rang them back to be told it is between me and the car dealer. How many other people is this going to happen too. I spoke & reported to trading standards who have also done nothing. It cost me over £1000 to fix my car!!!!!!!

Would not recommend at all, you would think having a high profile advocate that these would be good but unfortunately it is just a waste of money. Paid for a 3 month warranty and the dealer kindly topped this to 6 months, however ive now sold that specific car and wanted to transfer the warranty I had to my new car, but now been told " it was dealer provided " so it's now a dead policy!!
Unless the new owner wants it, but I needed it for my new car. Beware of this when buying  car, the policy is not transferable to another car.......complete rip off.....and the admin team I called were not helpful or interested . Quentin Wilson .........really???
