I love this place. Go in here a few times a month and it’s nice to see the same people working there. The sweets are always fresh and the shop feels really clean.
Absolutely brilliant shop. Staff were really helpful and sweets were perfect. Definitely recommend because they have virtually everything in such a cozy shop.
Have been going to this little sweet shop for many years,When my Children were very little if they behaved in town,there treat would be a 1/4 of sweets. Sadly on a visit to the City at the W/E called in for some Cinder Toffee so disappointed Chocolate was discoloured & the toffee was soft.
Twice now I have had stale sweets. Once a few months back during lock down and again today. A distinct old taste as though they are old stock.
Best quality and flavour sweets I have had in years, chose Liquorice toffees, rhubarb and custard candy, pineapple rock, sprogs jelly buttons and watermelon slices. All were amazing.
The staff always seem happy to see me. One of the only places I can get weighed sweets for a reasonable price now. Lots to choose from. Would recommend.
Stocks every popular pipe tobacco, along with a range of budget pipes and pipe accessories. The only - rather inexplicable - fault is the fact that the store doesn't sell matches. There is, however, a good range of rather fancy lighters.
Lovely traditional sweet shop and tobacconist, friendly and pleasant staff, good service and good selection of sweets and tobacco.
great little old fashioned sweet shop all in jars and they weigh it in front of you i also go in for a few of my favorite pipe tobaccos
Small independent sweet shop that sells a range of sweets. not much room on busy occasion.
