It’s been a very long time since I was genuinely impressed with restaurant food and enjoyed every single bite of it. I’m surprised this restaurant doesn’t have higher star rating as it deserves 5 stars. Scallops cooked to perfection. Sauces so well matched and so delicious. Amazing food experience.

Genuinely impressed with the food here. Very worth the visit.  From the set menu I had the pork starter sorry no image I was too consumed, sea bass main and ice cream.  All cooked to perfection, well presented and with a little added panache. The kitchen team really deserves praise.  Although other tempting dessert offers were  available such as chocolate torte and frangipane I opted for ice cream as it was truly refreshing to find pistachio as an option.  Not to be missed.  Parking available, attentive staff.

We love this place- always our choice when celebrating a special occasion such as an anniversary! Lovely laid back country pub inside but the food standard, quality and menu size is fantastic! Always lots of choice, especially with the ever changing specials. Last time.we came, my husband ended up ordering a 2nd portion of his dessert to take home it was that good!! We recently went for a midweek lunch deal and couldn't believe some of the dishes that were included not just fish and chips. Will continue to come back time and time again!

First time dining here and it will not be the last. We went and had the Sunday roast pork and it was divine. They were very accommodating adapting the meal for a food intolerance, which is always  relief. The tables are nicely spaced, so you don't feel like you are on top of each other. The service was friendly and welcoming.

Booked here 10 mins before we arrived as a spur of the moment date night, we had been recommended this place by a friend so thought let’s try it.  Really easy to get to, plenty of parking. Cute inside with good lighting so you can actually see the food you’re eating.  Waitresses were really pleasant, ordered drinks starters and mains. I asked for a recommendation and again they were helpful and happy.  Focaccia for starter which I wasn’t overwhelmed with but it was nice. My partner had prawns and olives, both he enjoyed. Mains I had blade of beef which was delicious, with added chips and onion rings. The onion rings where the best onion rings I’ve ever eaten. And I fear now that no others will ever live up to these ones!! Amazing. Partner had ribeye and again really enjoyed.  I would recommend this place to enjoy who would like good hearty food, done well. Nice atmosphere with cottage vibes.

A fabulous restaurant with great atmosphere. The food is delicious with a varied and imaginative menu. Stylish with different seating areas to suit all moods- romantic restaurant, cosy bar, conservatory dining and outdoor seating. The staff are friendly and helpful and it’s great value for money.

Beautiful pub thoroughly enjoyed our set menu meal, a set menu but there was plenty of choice. Lovely staff highly recommend   piccs of starters and we both had the same sweet.Food: 5/5

1st class food and service. The best cod and chips I have ever had. Food presented beautifully. Great portion size and prices. I would return if I lived locally

Went for a Sunday lunch. For me the Pork was tastier than the beef but that's a matter of opinion! Nice bright and modern pub. Average prices. Good food and no complaints about service. I'd go again.
