Great tasty food. Meal sets are about £10 each. Our bill was £60 overall. Decent selection and states pretty authentic. Didn’t give it 5* as I’m a poor northern monkey who also lived in Asia and thought it would have been cheaper but this is central London.
Easy, simple, yet a delicious discovery. I’ll be short and just do a review summary. It’s a cafeteria style place, big, chilled, with loads of space. Order at the counter, to stay in or take away. Menu is varied, just look at the wall, choose and say. We went and it was busy, well it was a Saturday, but the line was quick and was easy to pay. Food is five stars with no doubt, get the vermicelli noodles, it’s a good shout. More so if you need a energy to be out and about.
We went for lunch and ordered one rice plate with 3 sidesdaal, brinjal and ladies finger and one plate of noodle with two types of chicken. I personally don’t like the noodle plate. But the vegetable rice plate is similar to Indian home made food.
Delicious, fast, and friendly. Char Kway Teow is really flavorful without being too salty and is evenly mixed with egg, scallops and shrimps, and vegetables. My friend’s chicken satay is also very tender. The food in the counter also looks good, though slightly too oily. A bit pricy for the street food.
It was really nice! Me and my two years old daughter went in for lunch. She’s got dairy allergies. So roti Canai was a go to option. Everything was halal. The staff was very kind!
I ordered satay rice ,mee hoon goreng and fresh orange juice .Both are very tasty and reasonable price .For me is the best Malaysia restaurant in London . I will try something else next time .
Wanted to stop by for nasi lemak but ended up eating nasi campur because of their type of dishes that day. The sambal brinjal/ aubergines was delicious. Definitely worth the stop and had our fills as we spent walking up and down the streets at Portobello markets.Recommended dishesChar Kway Teow, Nasi Campur
Very nice food and nice staff. The downside is that the only toilet is disgusting. It needs replacing or a deep cleaning because it smells horrible and it is visibly not well-kept.Food: 4/5
Came for a casual dinner with a friend- Friday night was still quiet enough for us to have a long chat, we both ordered CKT veggie & seafood- felt very authentic!!
Went at around 6oclock in the evening, not too busy, 2 people. Food didn't come at the same time, left waiting 30mins by which time I had finished all my food!! I did mention this to cafe staff but it seemed to go over their heads. Worth trying if you are in the local area if you are looking for a home cooked Malay vibe. Food is halal. Cafe ambience. Noodles and coke my meal came to £10 - I don't feel this was worth it.
