Food was great! For a sec I felt like I was in Malaysia! I was so chuffed, fellas. Keep it up! Worth a mention.. I booked a table for 8. They already prepared the table for us inside the cafe, we asked to be seated outside instead and the staff just rearranged for us without any question. We really appreciate it. With us was friends who just flew in from Malaysia, Switzerland, India and we ourselves just arrived from 3 hrs drive-The Midlands. All the little things and efforts from Putera Puteri staff really made our gathering fun and memorable. Thank you and keep up the good work!
I've noticed this restaurant around the area I live in, it is really a hidden gem the food there is very nice I really enjoyed the pastry it was full of taste and the main dish for sure was nice. the service is really good and it is not pricey compared to the restaurants around it. My compliments to the stuff and I'll be visiting there again soon.
Lovely small Malaysian restaurant. Delicious food and very friendly staff. Curry laksa noodles is super tasty, if you like coconut that's the one to choose.
Everything that's not a Malaysian taste I experienced in this restaurant. I had patronized this restaurant many times before the pendamic, it was great then, the food was excellent, and the ambience was great. However, now the faces in the restaurant had forgotten to smile, no greetings, no coming around to our tables to ask about the food. I had the worse of char kuey teow ever, it was overly sweet and the pasta was hard, the curry puff too was sweet, the roti canai was ok, and the tea tarik was very low on sugar till it was tasteless. I hope they'll buckle up before it's too late.
Great food which is very authentic and delicious. Portion is generous! I love my mi goreng and prata. Will highly recommend this restaurant. It is child friendly too but you may need to fold your pram as the space not very big.
Delicious food, excellent service; went there due to a recommendation, completely new to Malay cuisine and really enjoyed it. Waitress was lovely and helpful in guiding us, portions were generous and the vibe was lovely and chilled out. Gets busy fast around lunchtime so get here earlier than 1pm if you can!
I think maybe this place got bought out by the Malay Guys? In any case, it was incredible. So good that after going to Roti King the next day and being disappointed by the roti canai I went back that same night! My only complaint is I couldn’t choose fish curry as an option with my roti - but the chicken curry was fabulous.
presentation is lovely. Food wise, is great, but i think a bit more flavour could really amp up the dish more. The sambal for nasi lemak could be a little bit too sweet for some people, as it was for us. They do their roti in-house! I’d say i the dough for the roti was nice and my mum had the Roti Sarang and enjoyed it. Staffs were friendly, waiting time could be a bit longer depends on the crowd. Overall, a pleasant dining experience, hope to be back soon!
Authentic Malaysian cuisine. Food was delicious. Staffs were friendly. Cozy. Definitely will come again in near future
Finally trying this venue since Malay Fellas took over. We had the nasi kandar + ayam goreng, kari kambing and daging masak hitam and nasi goreng kampung. The extra curry/kuah was great so we could drown the rice in it and the sambal belacan was tasty too! Could have done with that sambal with the nasi goreng for an extra kick too! Unfortunately they didn't have any roti dishes so we couldn't try those but something for next time then! In conclusion, we generally found both dishes and the staff were super friendly too! We would definitely recommend the nasi kandar for those who want to try something different but still very much Malaysian!
