* One Star Review - well deserved. * We were initially pleased with the installation we had received from Walton Flooring Wavertree, however after barely 10 months we have noticed the floor has started to bubble in areas and in one area the surface part of the floor had come away completely. As soon as the issue became apparent we raised this with Walton flooring via telephone with Paul, the person who we agreed the sale with initially. Paul agreed to send out a representative to inspect the faulty flooring. John arrived and was barely here for 3 minutes from arriving to leaving. He had taken a picture of the faulty floor on his smart phone (with a faulty screen) and left stating only his area manager would be in touch. We offered to show him other faulty sections on the second floor of our property but he declined - potentially due to us asking him to remove his shoes before going up our carpeted stairs. We received a follow-up call from Paul later that week stating the John who inspected the fault in the floor put it down to water damaged and there MUST have been a leak. I explained this could not be correct as: 1) The floor would still be wet from a leak 2) Surely their would be a trail of damaged floor to the leak ? 3) Do you not think we would have had the leak fixed - this would involve taking up the floor to fix the leak!! I called Paul back as I was dissatisfied with the findings from their, albeit extremely brief, investigation - especially the assumption there was a leak. I drew particular attention to why his rep would not go an investigate other parts of the floor? Paul stated he was not aware there were other issues around the house and that John (Representative) was told to investigate one particular area. I didn't feel this was a valid excuse for someone not having the time to remove their shoes to perform a thorough investigation. Paul reluctantly agreed send John out again to look at the faulty floor on the second floor in one of our spare rooms. John came round again to carry out a further investigation. Using a 15 cm transparent ruler as reference he had taken several pictures with the same phone with the faulty screen. Again John said it would be down to the office on how to proceed, and may involve someone from the floor manufacturer to come out and inspect the floor. My partner received follow up call from Paul on the back of the second visit. Paul stated from John's findings the second floor bedroom was also done by water damage from the en-suite bathroom to that bedroom. We do not have an en-suite to that room, and the nearest water source is across a carpeted hallway in the main Bathroom, but this is extremely far away from any water source - again their is no leak for the above 3 stated reasons. We put our concerns in writing to Paul via email asking for a formal response and resolution in writing from higher management - even inviting the management to see the issues first-hand. We are yet to receive a response. For a couple who work full time with no children or pets we feel as though the floor should still be in near-perfect condition. The only advice we can give from our personal experience with this company is do not be sucked in by the sales patter. Be cautious regarding the laminate flooring as it seems to be of extremely low quality - and the aftercare falls far below expectation.

This is a company that truly cares about its customers. The wouldn't sell me carpet that I wanted for my stairs, advised me it was too thick. So Brian showed me a shorter carpet and advised a better underlay, what shocked me more is that this also come to less than the original carpet I was looking at. They have also done my friends house and she is delighted, the fitting is amazing and my friend said she saved over £400 compared to a quote she had from another company. I don't do reviews but I felt this was a must due to the whole service I received. I was always kept informed and got a phone call the next day asking get if everything went to plan. Thank you so much Walton flooring centre, more friends of mine are on there way.

Brian is a true gentleman, there was no pressured sales. I was allowed to browse at my own convenience, once I choose my carpet and flooring for my new home Brian arrange a free measure up. Which was arranged for two days time, on the day John called me in morning to arrange a time he then worked out the price in my home, to my surprise it was over £700 cheaper than a previous quote I was given by SCS. I was also able to keep hold of my money as I paid for it through there interest free finance. I had the carpet and flooring installed yesterday and the fitters where really pleasant and again called with a time. The quality of fitting is far better than I have had before and to top it off Brian has just called to make sure everything went well and I am happy. To which I replied over the moon and I will be leaving a review shortly.

DON'T USE. SLOPPY JOB AND LIARS You go into the shop and then make you wait and eternity. Thet don't have a clue about products, prices and quality. I asked for different price range carpets and simply told that a specific carpet was the only nmoney at that price then in walk around the shop to see other carpets at similar prices. I'm going to contact trading standards for their false advertising. Prices are displayed in nonsense measurements so in the end you are paying more than you believe. Their quotes are false too which will then increase with the alusive VAT and the hidden extras that were meant to be free. I had carpet installed, as they said best carpet of that model. I had to pay for the underlay when they advertise it free. Carpet is worst ever and 3 months later is lumpy, looks 10 years old, and is coming off the corners. Called 2 weeks after installation as carpet was poorly fitted. Booked a date.on the day the guys cancelled visit. Never heard from them. Good a taking money off you though. DON'T USE. SLOPPY JOB AND LIARS.

I had wooden flooring put down in my living room from picking my floor to getting fitted nothing to much trouble i would definitely recommend this shop price was good and everything that went with it thank you
