What a lovely place & what amazing staff. They took the time to get to know mom & us and always checking that we were all happy & had everything we needed. Walsall hospice Goscote has to be the best NHS facility i have had the pleasure of having access too.nnThe staff are professional, friendly, compassionate and person centred in everything they do. The facilities here enhance the experience for both patients accessing the service but also the families and friends visiting.nnAll nurses were amazing in our case and really took the time to understand the individual, in order to provide the best service as possible. To see the outcome we did was lovely as the purpose of the service was met at all times, to a very high standard.nnPrivacy and dignity of all patients were promoted and upheld at all times, putting patients, family and friends at ease knowing the right things were taking place as and when they should have been. Security of the facility was brilliant, all visitors needing to sign in to comply with health and safety, security and also fire safety regulations. In addition to this they were all friendly and often giving biscuits out to young children which certainly helped them deal with the experience a lot better.nnI look forward to seeing friendly faces again as we plan to visit again with more donations for the relatives facilities to enhance other families experiences as ours was so good.

I don’t have the words to express how wonderful and amazing the staff were.  My mom spent just under 2 weeks here before she passed away peacefully on Sunday 20.08.23.  We never wanted her to go into a hospice we wanted to stay at home, but sometimes things don’t go how you hope.  I am so glad I got to spend the last 2 weeks of her life as her daughter and not her carer.  It was precious time that I will never forget.  The staff went above and beyond not only for mom but for me too as her Daughter.  They remembered my name from the first day and made sure we understood everything explained to mom, explained  to me and nothing was ever to much trouble.nA special thank you to Dawn, Chrissie, Letitia, Julie, Louise, Kat I could go on and on with all your names because I think you do an amazing job.  You are caring for someone in the last stages of someone’s lives and to make such a difference in those times is a precious thing.nYour care and compassion will never ever be forgotten.  Keep up the good work you are all true angels.nRest assured if your relative is admitted here they are in good hands.

My husband who sadly passed away recently stayed at this hospice. This place is absolutely incredible. The rooms are neat and clean, the facilities are really good.The staff is so respectful, kind ,caring and experienced . My husband was looked after so well in the last days of his life. I can't be grateful enough to the hospice for giving my husband outstanding care. Me and my kids ,our family ....we were all treated with kindness and care. The doctors and the nurses are brilliant. Thank you so much for being there for us.

Having very recently Goscote Pallative Care Centre to visit our old school friend David we were immediately aware of the calm and kindness of all the staff from the minute we entered the building. Everyone was so kind and caring to make sure David was as comfortable as possible. All the staff were considerate and helped David’s family through the most difficult time of their lives. THANK YOU all for just doing your job. The world is in a better place for having you all in itnLinda & John
