Walpole park: Different season revisited two years on. The park is as beautiful and busy as ever. The lungs for Londoners to relax in. Building work to the entrance is now completed and the gardens are a great place to relax in. The gardens are not too formal or fussy and are a pleasure to be in. Took more photos of this May season.
Cute and easily accessible park in the middle of Ealing Broadway - much bigger than it looks on first sight. Beautiful during any season of the year and usually packed, unless there's a thunderstorm outside. It contains many different types of plants and trees throughout, benches with inscribed quotes, a couple of lakes with various kinds of birds chilling around and more. Walpole Park makes a great destination for a walk, chilling on the grass or by the lakes, going for a workout or just relaxing and eating during your lunch break. There are many different shops around the park mainly towards the train station, so you'll be able to get a coffee or food or anything that works for you before - or after - your visit. P.S: on a fun little note, excellent location to play Pokemon Go by yourself or with your friends, take my word for it. Photos from last August
Nice park for a short walk. To walk around it it takes around 10-12 minutes. You’ll find here nice garden and impressive, big, tall trees. There is a cafe and there are free toilets for people visiting that park. From scale 0-10 I’ll give that park strong 6. It’ll be nice for 2-4 km run .
Walpole Park boasts a variety of facilities including kid's playground, kiosk café, historic wildlife interpretations panels, fish ponds with fountains and a serpentine lake. Beautifully landscaped Park homing the historic Manor House and Art Gallery. It also hosts community events such as the Ealing Summer Festival with live music and arts performances.
Beautiful park. I visited almost every day during my stay in Ealing. I especially liked the lake and the garden. Had lovely time reading books in various spots of the park. It has a corner for every taste. Livelier spots and more peaceful corners. The plaques giving historical and botanical info were a nice touch and fun to discover around the park!
Our puppy's favourite place to do zoomies. Well maintained especially after a weekend of sunshine when people treat the place like a dumpster. Appreciate the efforts to keep it a clean environment for animals to roam around without being hurt by rubbish.
Lovely place to be with nature. Lots of paths to walk, green space to and sit and rest or picnic. The play parks are fun as well.
A beautiful park with lots of lovely flower beds, an amazing playground which is suitable for all different ages of children. There is a pond, lots of wildlife around. A beautiful avenue of trees. The cafe is adequate and near the playground. Toilet facilities need work due to vandalism but all in all a very lovely park to visit... not to mention Pitshanger Manor Museum too!
This is a lovely park in Ealing. Lots of nature and wild birds. Great to have a good walk for exercise and bring your pets. There’s a gallery at the entrance which you can go in to see some exhibits.
This park is amazing the sun is very bright, everyone is wearing shorts today and we had so much fun with the gorgeous weather in London
