I stepped into this store while strolling around golders green, attracted by the affordable prices. I was immediately approached by an elderly employee who wanted to sell me a suit. He gave me some suggestions and different sizes to try on and even was able to customize the length of the dress pants to my liking. I have never had a suit sold to me so quickly, but i’m more than happy with the quality and fit. I would definitely recommend this shop because of the affordable and unique pieces.
I just purchased a beautiful suit for my husband from Wallers in Golders Green the staff were very helpful and attentive. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and valued as a customer. The sales consultant helped me find the perfect suit for my needs, and he also made sure that it was tailored to fit me perfectly. The quality of the suit is outstanding, and it was well worth the price. I also appreciate that the staff took the time to educate me on the different fabrics and styles available. Overall, I am very happy with my experience at Wallers and would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for high-quality men's suits. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and goes above and beyond to ensure that customers are completely satisfied with their purchases.
Why is this place rated this highly? Rudest customer service I’ve ever experienced. I went in there to shelter from an unexpected shower as the rain was getting heavy, as I had a splint on my right index finger and I mustn’t get it wet at any cost. I wasn’t even in the place for one second before the staff eyed me suspiciously and I explained why I was in there not that I should’ve done, I had every right to be in there, whether or not I was going to buy something and then they asked why I wasn’t wearing a rain coat. As if that would have totally protected my hand from the rain and I’d only popped out to the chemist when the sun was shining, how was I supposed to know the weather would turn like that?! A minute later they said the rain had stopped - it hadn’t. You’re not going to win/retain many customers treating them like that…
This shop is even more dodgy than it looks. One of the weirdest shopping experiences I've ever had. Dishonest salesmen, over-priced defective items, reneging on returns agreement. And to top if all off I was threatened by a member of staff telling me 'you don't want to see me angry'. Utterly bizarre - avoid like the plague.
Monday January 22 2024 I went shopping @Wallers. very good quality garments.Thank you to the member of staff that took care of me....
There's a short bald old man with glasses who's extremely pushy to make a sale. He comes to help me find clothes then tells me "please pay now as we're closing soon". I tell him I'll come back tomorrow and his grin turns into anger like a two faced jerk and he petulantly tells me "you've got to be kidding me". Then he sulks, stomps his feet when placing the clothes back, mumbles he doesn't want to help me in making big life decisions and says "I hope you don't come back". Incredibly rude staff. Do NOT go here!
Sold me a blazer for £50 ; saying it had just come down from £200 - once I got in I realised that it is from Primark. Did not appreciate the dishonesty.
