It is always an honor and a privilege to not only set up our Stretch Tent for their clients' weddings at The Walled Garden but we absolutely love being a part of their Open Days. It's a real pleasure working with Hannah and Sam, often seeing them during our early morning setups, hurrying around to make sure everything is perfect for their clients' special day. The dedication and attention to detail they bring to every event truly set The Walled Garden apart as an exceptional venue, creating memorable experiences for everyone involved
From the first moment we set foot in the Walled Garden, we knew we found the place where we wanted to get married. The venue is private and peaceful and absolutely beautiful. We loved the fact we could get married outside and the combination of the outside garden area and the beautiful function rooms were perfect for us. We were so lucky on the day that the sun was shining and we were able to spend most of the day outside, it was absolutely perfect. We can’t thank Hannah and Rachael enough for everything they did for us. They were friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. They answered our many questions before the day and their organisation and attention to detail both before and on the day itself was second to none. If anyone is looking for a wonderful wedding venue full of character then look no further, The Walled Garden won’t disappoint. Thank you so much to the team at The Walled Garden at Cowdray.
Absolutely the very best of all that makes a quintessentially English early summer wedding. From start to finish the team were superb, all our guest have written extolling the glorious surroundings and delightful staff. Everything ran to time, never an empty glass, constant flow of canopy’s, delicious sharing platters at the luncheon, then the evening food. All aspects were coordinated superbly, nothing was a problem. I have two more daughters … just saying. Thank you Cowdray, just brilliant.
The very best place to have afternoon tea on a summer's day. Each table is set in its own garden area, giving privacy and affording a great view of the gardens. The food is superb, with imaginative sandwiches and cakes. Our favourite today was the lemon posset and the lemon & elderflower sponge. The servers are very friendly and attentive. Thoroughly recommend.
We had our wedding here in April 23 and it was such a great day. Hannah and Rachael was excellent throughout the whole process, especially Rachael who was our main point of contact from when we booked and on the day itself - the team & herself was great from all aspects. They stayed calm whilst under pressure and communicated with us throughout the day effectively. We used the Yellow Kitchen for food recommended by the Cowdray team and we had excellent reviews from everyone, including people telling us the food was better at our wedding than their own! We would highly recommend the venue and the team looking for a venue. The venue itself has the huge garden and two rooms so you get the best of both, and you are allowed so much flexibility that you can make it your own special day.
I had my wedding at the Walled garden- and from start to finish the experience was incredible. Hannah and her team - Rachel and Sam- were absolutely incredible. Hannah has been so enthusiastically and very helpfully involved since we booked the venue, ensuring we had all the visits and putting us in touch with all the relevant suppliers. The planning process was so easy with the teams support. And of course on the day, Rachel and Sam were incredible coordinators, making sure our wedding ran to plan. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. We started the morning in the lovely and spacious bridal suite where me and all 5 bridesmaids had enough space to get ready and start the festivities! The walled garden has the most beautiful garden which is really well looked after, filled with gorgeous flowers and fragrants. It was exactly the chilled out vibe we wanted for our ceremony where we had a beautifully decorated floral arch and then our outdoor drinks reception, and of course our wedding breakfast. Couldn't recommend it highly enough! We can't wait to go back to the venue and say hi to everyone!
Small garden with a lot going on, the plants were only just waking up so not much colour but could see that later in the season to would be filled with colour. Great that it was free and you could even have a coffee and sit in the garden to drink it. We had seen the ruin castle which is next to the garden, I would encourage people to go if you are in the area.
Had the most delicious cream tea here in a beautiful setting. Definitely worth a visit.
Lovely walled garden - a great place for a bit of peace and quiet. And all free. There's a small tea room as well. Not a huge choice of food, but what's there is fine.
