They've opened up one of these new modern German discount stores in Christchurch. Fantastic if you'd like anything pickled, salted, cured, smoked, dried or canned.
I had an extraordinary experience at Christchurch store last Sunday. I was overcharged in error at the check out and only spotted it when I went back home in New Milton. I had to go back to the store to customer service desk and the assistant not only refund the money but gave back £3 to compensate my travel time and petrol. This is a great example of an excellent service from a company that takes care of their customers. That’s why we love Waitrose!
The new parking charge system by the council is a joke. Arrived after 5pm and the apps try to charge £3.70 to 8pm. But if have exact change of £1.30 then you can pay at the machine. But the machine does not give refunds if no exact change and does not accept credit cards. Complained at the customer service desk but the woman did not move from sitting in front of the computer and clearly was not going to register the complaint. No interest in coming back
Great typical Waitrose store with friendly staff. But very expensive parking. You’ll need to pay for 12 hours if arriving after 7pm. Waitrose will refund you £1 of the £3,50.
As a long term customer of Waitrose,I am frustrated that today I’ve tried to get through to talk to someone….anyone in fact,due to my rotten Advocados,bought in the Sale of Veg tea time yesterday.I took photos last night as I opened them up to serve as starters,to find said Advocados were blackened inside,out of the 4 Advocados,only one was edible,so,a very expensive single fruit…2x2 in box,only 1 sort of edible.I wanted to tell you,as you had quite a few left,in trolley,so expect you’ll have more customers complaining.I shop at your Store,all the time,& think the service to get hold of someone,is awful.Please answer your phones.When I come in next ,I will show you the photos I took of Advocados yesterday evening.Rant over,sorry.
