We shop at this Waitrose often, usually for the fruit and veg, cheese and bakery sections. The staff are always available when needed, we love to shop there. My husband and daughter went in last Saturday morning and they were putting out the bouquets of flowers. My daughter must have been overheard saying she wanted to buy some roses - when they got to checkout, a lovely Waitrose member of staff called Caroline gifted my daughter the flowers. She was over the moon. What a lovey gesture, thank you so much

I was visiting Hexham again so I went into Waitrose to choose lunch. I had chose the Taiko yasai poke- a meal to go. £5.25 which is worth the money. Yummy .nThis Waitrose has a cafe too.nThe bakery section is great.nWaitrose can be pricey on some items.nHas a very large car park, and near the store is for the Disabled and child parking bays,& grocery pick up.

I made a delivery order and as It was a large quantity of one product, the store personally rang me to explain they didn't carry that much stock.nHowever the young lady who didn't give her name drove to different stores to fulfill my ordernThat is what customer service is all about.nAs i am in the hospitality trade, we are all quick to complain when we get it wrong so on this occasion I am pleased to give you a shout out and a well done !!!!!!nBecause of this i would definitely use your services again!!!!!nExcellent work to the young lady with no name !!!!!!n

I would like to publically thank the lovely gentleman who delivered to our house in prudhoe this evening. Not only was he immaculately dressed he was polite courteous friendly helpful and very pleasant. Excellent efficient service. Many thanks.

We were travelling north and stopped in Hexham to get what we thought would be a nice treat a sandwich and a cuppa from Waitrose. We haven't shopped in a Waitrose for sometime.  What a disappointment the 2* are for the very nice lady on the checkout. However the lady on the Click and Collect till that I politely asked if there were cups for a takeaway tea was so very rude and condescending that we decided to discontinue with any further purchases. We were unaware of your no cup policy , may I suggest as this is a tourist town that perhaps a sign explaining the cup policy would be helpful to new Waitrose customers, and perhaps then  the employee in question wouldn't get so miffed when asked about it. We won't be shopping in a Waitrose store again.
