Monday September 12th. 2022 Great to see the delicatessen has re- opened today! Went in just after 8 am and saw the nice ladies just finishing setting out the goodies. I wished them well and said I would pass the word round. They then told me that as I was the first customer to mark the delicatessen's re-opening there was a 'thank you' prize. So I won a £5 voucher which I used against my bill at the checkout. Even better....oh, and there is a 20% reduction on cheeses from the deli as well. Altogether a very good half hour spent in the store. Thank you. ....also very good discount on Mayan coffee both ground and full beans. I do not usually get 'real' coffee but this time I did.
Love it , friendly staff well stocked shelves and some great offers. Lovely coffee in the cafe, my favourite store.
Disgusted by store security being aggressively discriminatory towards myself due to my scruffy appearance. I would like to inform your store security that I had been helping an elderly friend of the family to clear their garden ready for winter. It was cold,it was wet and it was muddy. I would also like you to know that I am recovering from PTSD after being injured as a prison officer in a riot which I was awarded a commendation for saving multiple lives. Never judge a book by it's cover, I will never be returning to your store after the store security made a point of checking on me with aggressive eye contact. I had just done my good deed for the day and wanted to buy some nice treats for the children on my way home. I have never felt so unwelcome in a store before and yet I still paid £34 for my shopping.

All the coolers and freezers are down, no chilled or frozen food... what a shambles of a store! Tried in store cafe only to find Porridge, avocado on toast and cake was available at 1pm! They need to sort this store out ASAP!
Great place to shop friendly staff and fresh food top class
I've been shopping at this supermarket for a very long time now and usually the staff are really helpful and friendly. Today however, I went to the lottery counter and I was immediately summoned 'come on then' by the cashier she then started to literally scan & throw my food onto the other side for my to pack. I asked if she was in a rush and she said 'yes'. I found her rude and I really did have to bite my tongue, I wouldn't expect this level of service here or anywhere. Terrible customer service! This is a 3 star based on my experience today.
Good for special treats, bit expensive for everyday shop. I usually stick to the self service check outs as one or two or the cashiers not so friendly and don't make the effort with even a thank you or goodbye. Problem not limited to Waitrose, alas. At least the Security staff say 'goodbye', all credit to them.
Excellent service & staffing, with clear markings for social distancing & a staff member specifically cleaning the trolleys to ensure safety. Members of the public not so thoughtful or careful ! but since we were socially distanced, you were mostly able to avoid those that were being thoughtless. Excellent range for such a relatively small store.
