Went there today to find that 80% of the fridges was empty . Only 2 chickens in it and no other chicken products in the fridge section . Did someone at Lidl forget to put the order in ? Then got to the check out to find long ques and only 2 tills operating.  Very disappointing.

As I have said before Lidl's food is generally good quality at fair prices. The main issue I have is that we usually have to go elsewhere to get all we need. The middle of Lidl is often worth looking at but two items I have bought from there have been sub-standard - one item has to be returned.

It's an ok store, tidier and less cluttered than Aldi in my opinion, and the cashiers at Lidl don't seem quite as intent on rushing the purchases through at such a speed onto the tiniest bagging area, so that some things fall on the floor, unlike Aldi.nI don't personally rate most of Lidls own brand stuff, but there are some things that are very good.nPrices very similar to Aldi.

Since the store refurb in 2017 it is a nice shopping experience.  From the in-store bakery through fresh produce to the weekly offering of all sorts of things.  The range is good and so is the quality.  Prices are keenly priced so well worth a visit.  They also offer a fairly good range of wines as well as a few cellar specials.  Staff polite and store is always clean. Parking is free.
