Friendly staff but very limited stock and range. We have lived locally for 3 months and half of the freezers have been broken for all of that time. The shelves are often empty and basics such as tissues not in stock. I understand that the store is undergoing refurbishment but I won’t be returning. Wantage is a much better stocked store
It's a small but well stocked and well kept shop, ideal for a quick nip in to get evening dinner or lunch to make. If they haven't got it I'm sure that there is a shop the other side of the car park that may have. Friendly staff and plenty of parking.
Another very poor experience at Waitrose today. No served tills open. Self Service tills have a very small area to put anything but small bags. Needed age verification and woman came to the till did not acknowledge me ad on the way out blanked me and looked away when I said thank you. Plain rude and poor customer service!
THE most disgusting disabled restroom I’ve ever seen. Filthy sink, loo and floor. Just feet from fresh food. 0/10.
Friendly staff, clean place , easy to get in do your shopping and quick check. Brilliant highly recommended it.
Obviously the food quality is excellent, but after popping in to get a magazine, we ended up picking up a few essentials and some alcohol without taking too much notice of the prices... I guessed it would be about £60 as we approached the tills, but was a bit shocked at the £93 bill!
The store didn't have what I wanted on the shelf. When I asked a member of staff if there was any through in the stock rooms, not only did she check there, she then checked to see when the next delivery was, realised that there had been a delivery that morning and went off to get the item for me. 10/10 For customer service. BTW I always find the staff very pleasant, particularly the security who monitors the queue on a Thursday morning.
An excellent place to stop for lunch, it is not a huge superstore but it has all the essentials and more. The cafe on site was really good and I know this will sound odd but the car park is amazing, they have left space between each parking space so you have room to get out without hitting the next car with your door. A small thing, but a big difference.
Less stressful to shop here than a lot of other places at the moment. The covid-19 measures are great and the staff were very friendly. Good vegan range, including nutritional yeast which isn't available in most other shops. Items sometimes a little expensive but good offers at times. I love that Waitrose stock Pieminster pies!! Would be good if there was less plastic packaging throughout the store.
Nice shop but smaller than usual. An assistant explained it is a convenience store so does not have everything. The cafe breakfast meals are very limited we were just passing on our way to Wales so we had croissants which were fine. Staff their usual friendly service and everything else great.
