Large carpark no problem finding a space, child and easy access parking available. Lunch in the restaurant for four people. Disappointed with the portion sizes. The best value was the loaded, sourdough, open sandwich. Toilets off the restaurant, very clean and well stocked, an easy access toilet available.nEnjoyed the shopping, aisles wide without unnecessary offers blocking your way. Well thought out placement of goods, found it easy to follow through one area to the next. Found everything I wanted.nFriendly, helpful staff throughout the store and at the checkout, efficient sums it up.
Husband was looking for some coffee beans that are currently on offer, unfortunately he couldn’t find any, however there was a member of staff nearby who checked on top of the shelf he then went into the storeroom to see if there was any there. As there wasn’t he offered my husband a complimentary bag of popular alternative coffee beans, service was excellent and Richard went above and beyond to help. Thank you very much Richard your help was much appreciated.
Terrible service. I'm sitting here right now still waiting for a piece of toast! It's been 25 minutes and counting!! I've paid £2.25, for a piece of toast!!! The staff are half asleep! Someone needs to be training some efficiency and quick fast! And while they're at it, I don't think the young lad parading around behind the serving counter, running his hands through his hair and checking himself out in the mirror, has had any hygiene training! Tables and chairs are dirty too. Really Waitrose!!! And don't respond with some automated response about 'commitment to excellence' blah blah blah. Just sort it out and stop ripping people off!
Sadly when I went i was disappointed, I had a latte and it seemed the coffee was limited, my girlfriend jad an almond pastry and it looked like it had been in a fight with Frank Bruno, staff wasnt very polite, and tables wete dirty. Completely different to the week before when my girlfriend went and said it was really nice, dont think we will return.
SAM! SAM! SAM!, I hardly write reviews but I was blown away by Sam at Ipswich branch, so I had to write one. Sam helped me due to some personal issues, made me feel welcomed, went above and beyond with a smile, helped to search the particular items my daughter wanted and gave me flowers and chocolate!!! This trip really to my Waitrose told a story of how we should all be kind to one another. Thank you so much Sam for cheering me up and giving the personal touch. I have shopped at Waitrose for 30 years and this was my best trip. You really made my day and more :
