Over-priced compared to even small local Tesco. Not that I'm promoting Tescos BTW. They make a cool billion a year without my assistance! Reduced shelf is a joke! Sometimes only reducing a £3 item by as little as 20p!! You still only get a small reduction on the day of the "sell by" date and rarely ever more than 50%, the usual being 20-30%. The staff make you feel like a shoplifter if you're still wearing dirty work clothes and not looking like the bog standard middle class demographic customer they aim to serve. Although there are a few exceptions and occasionally there is a normal person working who hasn't been reprogrammed into the Sainsbury's collective. But I'm sure after long term employment, then "resistance is futile" and the superiority complex and snobbery becomes the tea break topic of conversation.."did u see that man dressed in camouflage clothes? How dare he frighten our big spending worthy customers! He spent 3mins 24secs rummaging the reduced shelf! Classless and cheap, Dorothy on check out said he only spent £2:37, the cheek" Maybe my working class, council estate background is making me cynical.... Nope, I just checked, it's definitely not. Try for yourself and shop at a large Sainsbury's while dressing unkempt, dirty or untypical and feel the burn from the disgusted looks you'll get for daring to break the dress and class code and the expectation that you're probably there to steal!

Huge store with a large selection of food, products for the home and clothing. I always find pricing to be fairly competitive with the other main stores with some bargains to be had if you look out for offers or are signed up to their newsletter. Very rarely I find items out of stock and staff are usually friendly and helpful when needed.

Clean restaurant. Lasagne and chips for £4.50. Quite a large store. Petrol station conveniently situated.

Overpriced for what it is standard Sainsbury's. It's only saving grace is the deli counter but there is no hot meats counter which is a shame. Layout just does not flow staff are friendly though. Reduced items are usually 5p off.

A very lovely boy works there, he is polish. I think his name was Piotr, or something like that. Very kind and very nice, he makes my shopping experience so much better. Please never fire him!!
