A small branch of a major supermarket. The stock is varied but obviously not as much as a large store. All the same, they still manage to have what I want. It's just a shame that for some time, they have not stocked the fresh, uncut wholemeal bread which is particularly good. Well-stocked meat and fish counters and a wide range of deli items.
Nice clean store with a good selection of goods.nNice selection of plants and flowers as you enter.nSpacious and well laid out but not too big, so you can get around easily.nThe coffee machine was working not out of milk or out of order etc like other stores I've been in, staff were visible and all around the store.nI needed help at the self serve checkout, and at the coffee machine with my fob not scanning properly, both times staff were helpful and present.nI still think prices are good, if you know what you're looking for.nThere are often good offers on, that are comparable to, or cheaper than other supermarkets at the same time.nThey had great offers on specific dog food and I was purchasing it all here, while the offer was on.nThe sandwiches and meal deals are also good value and good quality.nThere is also convenient and easy parking.nOverall a very nice shopping experience.
As a coeliac the range is very good but not on fresh snacks. Today I was disappointed to not find any sandwiches! Also the one filling could do with updating

Miserable security guard likes to try and intimidate paying customers away, all for what? Perhaps because we don’t fit the bill of what a Waitrose customer should look like? I regularly shop at Waitrose but I will not be returning to any branch after this treatment. Obviously losing my custom won’t made a dent in Waitrose income but it’s principle. And I don’t get followed around in other supermarkets.
