This review is for the cafe.nnI was in the queue for 20 minutes, even though there was only 3 people ahead of me who ordered coffee hot food is brought to your table when its readynnMy cheese toastie cost £6.50 and was soggy and microwaved. I understand they're pre-made but why not just put it in a pannini maker?
Special thanks to Joanne at customer service! Great Waitrose and it’s been my local store for my weekly shop. Annoyingly last week I left a couple of items behind and didn’t realise until I got home. I contacted the online support team who never responded although they might yet respond. So I decided to drive back in - explained the situation and Joanne kindly resolved everything and looked into it. Great service, and again, a great supermarket.
Slightly underwhelming experience if I'm honest. Lots of gaps and cages on the shop floor making it hard to navigate around. I know it's Waitrose but the pricing of some items seems astonishingly high cereal for example. That said, the staff were superb and I didn't have to wait long when waiting at the checkout.
Friendly staffnFree coffee as you walk in... You need 'my waitrose app' on phone.nBring your own mug or disposable cup.nAnd a lid.nTea bags available.nWhy not.... Needs a purchase store items though.
This shop is an absolute gem! The service is top-notch, and the bakery items are simply fantastic—freshly made and bursting with flavour. You truly get what you pay for here, and it's worth every penny!
