This shop is an absolute gem! The service is top-notch, and the bakery items are simply fantastic—freshly made and bursting with flavour. You truly get what you pay for here, and it's worth every penny!
Friendly staffnFree coffee as you walk in... You need 'my waitrose app' on phone.nBring your own mug or disposable cup.nAnd a lid.nTea bags available.nWhy not.... Needs a purchase store items though.
Clean and pleasant? You must be joking.nThe men's toilets were hideous and vile. A horse must have used it.nThe poor overworked young girl on Customer Services said cleaning it up is her job.nShe'd have needed a bucket and spade. The two under occupied middle aged blokes in the car park chatting and giggling with any woman who could be bothered, should have been checking and sorting this mess.nPoorly managed dirty place.nNever setting foot in it again .
Waitrose is a brilliant shop. The staff were ever do helpful. I needed a bath loofah, but they did not have one. They then asked around and worked out another shop, in the village of otley, would have what I needed.nProper service.
It's Waitrose. Not the cheapest, but usually deals on like the other supermarkets.nStaff are always friendly.nIf you go after 7, bread from the bakery is normally going cheap and it's still good for a day or 2.nIf you go just after 6, sometimes you can get a whole rotisserie chicken for like half price and then half again. Diner sorted.
