My husband and I wanted sausage in a roll and a coffee for brunch at 11 am. No rolls so we had sausage in a sandwich. Why couldn’t someone pop into the supermarket and get some rolls. Sausage really nice but bread dry as had no butter. Has been better.
Busy, but not too busy for a Saturday. Got most items, but not all. Was going to stop for a drink in the cafe, but £2.25 for a pot of hot water, tea bag & splash of milk seemed a bit excessive. Perhaps Waitrose should set an example & drop the price to £1.99 to encourage more shoppers?
I am 40 yrs old ,had not been asked for ID for the past 10yrs ,foreign blond lady refused to sell me two bottles of alhohol that I wanted to buy as a xmas present.I left my purse in the car,wanted to pay by phone,didnt say sorry and was not polite ,will never shop in here .Went to tesco and they sold it to me without asking fo ID because I am looking old enough.She just wanted to show off her power.I am very dissapointed .
Open air parking is usually plentiful. However, Waitrose are upgrading their carpark. This has reduced parking capacity by approximately half. Staff members are helpful and knowledgable.
Great store. Masses of parking. Good rish counter. Helpful staff. Everything you'd expect from our favourite supermarket.
Reasonable choice but at the higher price end of supermarket shopping, and disappointingly the huge John Lewis adjoining store is permanently closed despite only having opened recently
This place is not multicultural at all, this shouldn’t be my business. But when the person at the tills makes silly comments about the amount of bags in my trolley and then asks me where I am from, then I have to raise this!! I visited on Saturday 5 Nov. And checked out at 17:30. It was the chap with the beard.
Had a lovely lunch in the Wine bar. Excellent sharing platters and wine.
Good shop but rubbish self service. I’m sure surveys say it is all perfect but it’s a much nicer customer experience to go through a served till.
40 mins wait for two slices of bacon in a roll and a spoonful of scrambled egg on a muffin... staff response... sorry having a really slow morning... clearly!
