I have been going to Wagging Tails at South Norwood for a few years now after the initial foundation course. I can’t recommend them highly enough. I have a little whippet X. Karen’s positive training has given me so much confidence with Mia and helped us bond. The training helped me to “read” Mia much better and understand what she is trying to tell me. We do obedience, agility, play games and scent work. Mia loves it especially the rewards sausage. We both have fun. Worth every penny.
Karen and Salem led informative and fun classes that broke down key elements of training and obedience into bitesize and memorable chunks. Lots of practical exercises and theoretical explanations helped with embedding behaviours both with our dog and us - would highly recommend!
I first brought my Cockapoo to Wagging Tails when she was four months old when we joined the puppy classes. She is now nearly three and we have continued to attend adult classes starting with the junior class and moving up to the advanced earlier this year. The classes are varied from obedience to agility. My dog loves coming to class and so do I! and I don’t know if we could have gotten through the first two years without Karen and Jenny for guidance.
We have taken our dog to the foundation course, adult class and are now in the advanced class. We have always found Karen and Jenny very helpful and approachable. They have a wealth of experience with puppy/dog training and our dog has developed into a wonderful pet. Highly recommend.
We have been attending classes for the last six years and have progressed to the advanced class. There are a variety of themes from agility to scent work and obedience. Most important for me is the enjoyment of the dogs. Karen and Jenni provide lots of helpful advice and problem solving.
Highly Recommended for Any Dog Owner at Any Stage We got so much out of our time at Wagging Tails. We came with our first dog, an adult bull lurcher rescue, wanting to learn basic commands and obedience. The classes gave us a great grounding in positive training and how to teach our dog all sorts of commands. We learned so much about how to communicate with our dog and what to expect from life as dog owners thanks to Karen and Jenny's experienced advice and instruction. Crucially, our dog enjoyed it too! He got to meet other dogs and it really helped him come out of his shell. The most valuable thing for me was having access to their support and guidance at the early stage of having a dog. We learnt a great deal from seeing them guide other dogs and owners in the class, as well as getting advice on things like nutrition, bad behaviour and emergencies. Getting their help at the start has meant we've been able to implement strategies from the get go and has made our - and our dog's - life comparatively stress-free and allowed us to solve problems quickly. But I'd strongly recommend this training for any dogs and owners at any stage!
I have been attending WTDT for several years now. My dog has achieved the gold award and loves Karen. We continue to attend the advanced class because the dogs enjoy it
Competent enough staff but the way it was delivered was really poor. Trainer was condescending and moralistic and just unpleasant. The course halfed in size after the first sessions and just didn’t come back despite having paid for it.
