I’ve been using Voodou now for around 4 years and wouldn’t consider going elsewhere. All the staff are fabulous, I’m Never disappointed with my hair cut and when I’ve had colour it’s always been done professionally and with the newest products.  I trust the team to do as they please with my hair as I know the outcome will look great. The opening hours suit late appointments that fit around work and weekends as well. My hairstylist Jade went above and beyond to help me get the hair up style I wanted. She was friendly and helpful. I am very fussy about my going out hair, and she did it exactly how I wanted it. I can recommend Voodou hair very highly. Mt daughter and I were visiting Liverpool fantastic city recently from Paris. While we were there, she wanted to colour her hair back to its natural colour. I phoned Voodou and they made two appointments, the first was to test the dye for her skin compatibility; so already 10/10 for safety, then 48 hours later to do the colour. Not only did they do a fabulous job, and made my daughter very happy, the staff were very helpful and very friendly. It made the whole thing a real pleasure for my daughter and nicely crowned our stay in the great city of Liverpool.Service:&nbsp;Hair coloring

Been coming here for roughly 2.5 years. Hayley is absolutely fantastic, as is the overall salon - great friendly staff always very chatty and kind, very relaxing atmosphere and the quality is top tier. Every hairdresser in there has a great set of skills and experience and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Never had a single problem.  This place is especially perfect if you love brightly coloured hair or cuts and styles that are hard to find the right salon for anywhere else in Liverpool. They do it all.  10/10. I went to Voodou as it’s my birthday next week and my hair needed some serious work. I booked in for a pre-lightener, full head colour and a cut and blow dry. I did have to reschedule my appointment but the staff were so kind and understanding - this was not a problem at all and I was actually able to book for an earlier time slot. The prices are very reasonable and they always have discounts available too, which is always a plus! Sophie did such an amazing job on my hair and I could not recommend her enough. It’s definitely one of the best hair salons I’ve been to and I couldn’t of had a better experience. Thank you!Services:&nbsp;Blowouts

Excellent service as usual!  Patient with my teenage daughters and generally just a friendly wonderful place.  This is the one hairstylists where I can go in and give vague description of what I would like done and I know I will walk out with a style I love!  They are also great with my autistic daughter and super patient when she is nonverbal.

Went for a cut and dye about a month and a half ago. Everyone thinks I did it myself because it's so bad. Dyed my hair red from dark blondish - my framing pieces were not dyed so now I have unwanted highlights that just look awful. Plus, it's very pricey

Hayley was lovey, I was made really welcome, by both Hayley an the gent who booked me in. I arrived pretty late with no appointment, not a problem for them at all. My hair was a mess but Hayley made no judgement and did wonders, my hair is now amazing, I will be back xxServices:&nbsp;Blowdry

I’m going to try to be as impartial as I can with this review so that you can get a fair view of what my experience at voodou was like. I booked in with Rene for a consultation in order to turn my hair from purple to silver. I knew myself that it was going to be a difficult job and Rene kept reminding me of this throughout the consultation, when I asked about things like maintenance and upkeep I was told lets get your hair to silver first. So the first time my hair didn’t lift light enough so she lifted it again and added the silver dye and I thought all was well and good. Until I went to a hair stylist the following week and she said she couldn’t do my hair for a wedding because a big patch of orange would be visible which had been completely missed by the dye. Anyways, after two washes my hair had a green tinge, so I messaged rene asking if it was normal and she booked me in for a free toner. Handling the toner was Katie who covered her mouth in shock looking at the big orange patch on my hair, suggesting that she would put a lighter toner on top and a darker toner on the bottom to level out my hair. Unfortunately this didn’t work and my hair turned brown to which I was instructed to be booked in again with Rene. 4 weeks on, my hair is currently blonde/ green/ orange/ brown and i have booked in with another salon to get it repaired and after ringing voodou in tears after how distraught I was with my hair, I was given a refund. During my experience I tried to call the salon several times and I got a ‘we’ll call you back’ and no response and I don’t know what shampoo was used on my hair but I am allergic to sulfates and since my visit, I have gotten the worst dry scalp I have ever had. Yes I did get my money back, but I spent hours in that salon with one of the DIRECTORS initially handling my hair. No amount of compensation will be able to repair the damage that has been done to my hair.Service:&nbsp;Hair coloring
