Spoken with Grace Hunt she was super helpful and professional and friendly, an asset to your company.
Have they actually asked the employees who work here? Vodafone have got something called “TeamMood” where everyday from 1pm onwards employees can rate and comment on their day. The majority of the comments are about the lack of management and support, how and the new commission scheme is as they’re just finding ways to take money off employees with people getting half of what they usually get, if you’re not hitting targets then all the managers have an issue with you and it’s your neck on the line instead of them supporting you to be better. The main reason why a lot of us don’t hit targets are due to the retention/sales department now having to deal with nonsense calls. They go on about how it’s a great place to work and they care about mental health it’s a load of rubbish. They expect you on the phones for your whole shift and if you have to take a little break due to the job being mentally draining they’re on your back and you get penalised for it or even sacked. They have “Spirit days” which are claiming to help with mental health but these only happen once or twice a year and you have to pay for it out your own pocket. Everyone who works here is depressed just have a look at the internal feedback system.
The company’s management has made me feel very uncomfortable on many occasions. Let me explain:nThere were times when I needed to simply to go to the bathroom as a normal human, probably twice a day, they wouldn’t let me.nI was going through a rough time of my life where my health was at a very high risk and the company did not even want to give me the time to go to my doctors appointment to attend the Cancer ward and my x ray appointments.nI also felt a bit of pressure on stuff I couldn’t understand just yet as I was a new employee.nThere were situations where I felt like my culture heritage was either excluded or threatened.nI did not feel safe or comfortable working for this company.nAlso, if you think you’ll get a discount working for them, you won’t!
All I got from them is discrimination, they are racist but they pretend to be accepting everyone for the brand name
Fantastic place to work and a great company, lots of enthusiastic hard working people :-
