Quick & friendly. But my only issue/disapointment is that on purchasing designer sunglasses they couldnt offer me the same colour lense that was within the designer frame, shame especially when your script results in an ecpensive bill
Poor service I went in store to book the test for my new glasses and the lady served me said was no space for the rest for 2 weeks which I told was bit strange. Anyway I said no thanks then I went home and I manage did online in the same store and actually was 3/4 different time in one day , so I booked online and the girls when she so me she was bit strange as she knew what I did . I did my test I ordered 2 pair of glasses which they will be ready in store in couple weeks time . She said you will receive a message when are ready in store !! Now after 4 weeks I call the store and asked why my glasses is not in stock yet , but when I call the lady said your glasses are here ready to collect from 21 October today is 4 November and no one call me or text me to tell me your glasses are here . I will make complain to the head office as well and definitely that is last time I will use vision express
A thorough eye test carried out by Laura gave me confidence that my new specs will suit my present vision. The selection of new glasses with help from Lauren went smoothly. Both members of staff were very helpful, polite and pleasant. I was very happy with the service I received at Vision Express Eldon Square on 15/8/2022.
First impressions were OK. the guy who did the pre-tests was helpful but the machine which tests eye pressure would not register so had to sit the uncomfortable test of spurt of air into the aye at least 10 times in one eye. the Optician who did the main test was abrupt and unfriendly. The worst part is I finally purchased glasses from specsavers as I preferred their frame options. Turns out Vision express give me a wrong prescription and now will not see me "specsavers must resolve the issue" is all I got from them even though vision express are at fault.
Nice staffs and very affordable. Glad I chose them to do my very first eye test.
Would definitely recommend Vision Express to friends and family. Very helpful, professional and thorough. A great experience!

Very professional and helpful staff. Eye test was simple and the optician was very clear with what she was doing and communicated well what I needed. Steve helped me choose my glasses and he was really great at choosing the ones that suited me best. He was completely honest and didn’t push me to spend more money than I wanted to…even working out how much things would cost so I could make informed decisions about what I wanted for my glasses. I felt completely at ease and had a laugh too! Everyone was super lovely and their covid procedures were extremely reassuring. Thank you very much! A pleasant morning for sure!
My first time in Vision Express and it was fantastic. I met Marissa who was so friendly and helpful, she advised me on buying some new black glasses. We had a lovely chat and a laugh which was refreshing, i felt so at ease. A young man called Mark was training, he was very attentive and friendly. I hope he gets the chance to join your excellent team at Newcastle.
