Really nice place to visit while you wait for your train. Air conditioned, spotless toilets, selection of hot and cold drinks. Friendly staff and so helpful.
This is a small lounge, but has good coffee and snacks. The staff are fantastic and helpful. Good place to wait for your train.
Only one toilet shared !!!!! First time in this very small first class lounge. Very basic lounge but suppose adequate for quick coffee. Need napkins for spills by coffee machine. More healthy snacks needed please. Very pleasant staff
Extra special wedding anniversary. We were given some fizz and an announcement on train voice system wishing us a happy anniversary. My husband had bacon sandwiches and I had some juice. Extra wide comfortable seats. Free WiFi. Fabulously quick journey. Only way to travel. X
They knew they were going to declassify the train. No coffee or food offered. No WiFi. Absolute shambles. Simply telling us would have meant a 3 hour journey coukd have been more bearable, allowing us to purchase drinks prior to boarding. They crammed so many onto the train they couldn't get the trolley through safely. Communication Virgin is key to happy customers. 1st class is considerably more £££ very annoyed.
Nice place to settle if you get to the train station early, was busier than I expected though. Decent selection of drinks, and a few snacks available - fruit selection was only apples though, no bananas or oranges which was slightly disappointing
Always love travelling with virgin trains first class. Very comfortable and elegant. Staff has become very rude with time, however the first class is still worth it.
Nice place to spend an hour waiting for your train. Plenty of snacky food on the house but not much sign of anybody clearing up spillages and crumbs from the floor. Nice toilets and showers though
I dont want to sleep before saying this: Thank you for bringing me home earlier. My trip to London was amazing this time but you make it perfect by saving more than 20 minutes of my life. So thank you again .
It's too small and grotty. There is often a shortage of seats and it is pretty filthy. The staff are constantly complaining to each other. It's better to just stay on the concourse.
