I had a collection of about 30 old 8mm video tapes dating back from the 1980s and wanted to convert them to digital. We found Vinyl To Digital, based in the Custard factory, Birmingham.Their service was excellent and pricing very reasonable. We had dealings with Chris, he was extremely polite and very helpful. We had a problem with the hard disc we had provided our fault and it was replaced without any charges and posted to us very promptly. I highly recommend this company.
I needed to get a video copied onto DVD and spent a couple of hours researching into who might be best - part of me was worried about it getting lost in the post but even the local-ish company didn't do the job in house so I sent it off by RMSD to these guys after making contact and getting a reply within an hour, and this was late one Sunday evening ! The prices seemed very good and the level of communication reassuring, friendly and very understanding of my concerns so I felt as safe as I could be. I was emailed when it arrived, got another email with a couple of questions the following day, another to let me know it was on its way and it arrived back with me in 5 days of sending it off. The DVD is just as it should be, the quality of service is amazing and the best I can say is that I now feel safe to send off some very rare vinyl to get converted so will be a returning customer - that says it all really ! Thanks to both Chris and Emma - you deserve to be busy.
Chris and the team at V2D are very helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and Chris provided information regarding the process and timescales. We had about 10 VHS tapes that were starting to degrade due to their age. Chris has copied all of these onto an external HD and has ensured that the audio and video was in a suitable condition. Many thanks to Chris and the team and I will recommend you to friends and family.
A terrific service. I posted my miniDV on the Monday and had the DVDs back on the Friday. I got an email to say that my parcel had been received and an email to say that my completed order was on it's way back - great customer communication and service. Jim.
Highly unrecommended. Long response times. They sent me the Side A with an irregular bpm, and not even the natural bpm of the track. Sent me both Side B tracks at 160 bpm. If you want to throw some money away use these guys. AVOID!!
After months of searching for a DAT player that actually worked I finally came across Terry@vinyl2digital. Fast, reliable and at a good price I now have access to my old archive. Life Saver!

Appallingly slow. Still waiting for the balance of my collection sent 5 years ago! Now over 6 years.
