Had a great lunch with friends here. The food was delicious, service was friendly and they were dog friendly too which was a great bonus for me as I brought my pup. Ample parking too. Just be careful of the narrow roads when driving. Can be tricky.Food: 5/5
Travel from just outside of Manchester to eat here. Found this gem in September 2020 whilst on a walk, beautiful location. Been back a number of times and it's great to see familiar faces. Always made welcome. Food is always excellent, huge choice to suit all palates. Staff always attentive, accommodating and friendly. Have dined outside in the beautiful garden and indoors too. Table for 10 of us today. Marvellous. Already looking forward to our next visit
Gorgeous Sunday dinner. Good service. Lovely staff. Typical countryside pub so a bit dated interior but lovely food!
The location is lovely and the atmosphere there was lovely. The staff were attentive and friendly.  The were patient and allowed us to stay there finishing our drinks way past normal service. The food was proper rustic food cooked to a high standard and presentation was good.
Really friendly pub... We went with our puppy, and the chef treated him with freshly cooked beef... We felt so welcome in this pub. Such a lovely environment. We asked for sausages for our pup, and noticed only later after returning back to home that we weren't billed for this. Heard of dog friendly place, but this is truly one. Would highly recommend this cozy pub...
Popped in after a visit to Clent hills. Bar staff very friendly. Nice clean environment with a lovely beer garden. Food availableService: 5/5
Fantastic pub tucked away by the idilic Clent hills. A must visit is you’re in the area. The staff are great and the food is fantastic. There is a varied and seasonal menu with something for everyone, including game and pies etc. Great selection of drinks including seasonal cocktails and many many gins to choose from. I would definitely recommend this pub to anyone for a great meal or just drinks.
This is our local pub, we usually just go for drinks but went for food this time and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Everything felt really fresh, and considering that it was high quality restaurant style food the prices are reasonable! Highly recommend!
Lovely country pub. Food was amazing and good value for money. Extra bonus we were able to bring our dog in after a walk in Clent Hills. Will be returning
Google kept "reminding" me about my visit, so here is my review. Eaten here before and has been fine. However on this occasion I had a "hot" pork and stuffing sandwich which for £8.50 was very disappointing, and I should have sent mine back. Pork wasn't great and wasn't much of it. Should have been a sandwich full of meat but just felt like leftovers. I've had much better takeaway pork sandwiches for £2 or £3 in the past.
