I usually have no problem at all with Vincenzos in terms of food quality, no complaints about that at all. My complaint is about how rudely we were treated on the phone regarding our order. We put our address into the website and proceeded to order as normal as there had been no warning of address/distance issue. I paid, money was taken out of my account and I received a text to say food would arrive in 44 minutes. We then get a call from the takeaway and a very rude woman on the phone told us we wouldn't get our food because they don't deliver to our area, that it's too far away, the traffic would be bad at 5.30pm on a Sunday?, and that it wasn't her problem. We checked how far the takeaway is from our house and its a 7 minute drive, surely not too far? So we called them back and told them they were only 7 minutes away and we were told the same excuses of too far, traffic issues and even that our food would be cold. When asked about a refund they said they would ask the boss, and I will be keeping a close eye on my account to see if they actually refund. Really really disappointed because I love their food, but their shocking staff will definitely make me think twice before I place another order.
This used to be lovely about 3 years ago. The prices are after hiking up and the quality is just not in the food anymore poor quality for the money you pay.
Just got home with my kebab meal. One of the worst kebabs iv ever had in me life! Scaldy small kebab with cold meat! If I wasn't home I would have gave it back! Scaldy!
I won't be ordering anymore from vincenzos my order was very disappointing the batter on the sausages was very very tough the chips were cold and the fish was horrible Nice staff but the food has turned me off I been eating from there for many years but today is the last time to buy anything from there Joe
Quick service, good food, friendly staff and local business.
Vile outbursts from staff. I Have had many times where the delivery was extremely late and sometimes even over an hour even though we live a ten minute walk away. Sometimes when we have rang, we're were told that "Oh, we're very busy", which can happen from time to time but then eventually when the food arrives it is beyond ice cold. Also, if something is wrong with your order, good luck trying to get the issue sorted We kept ordering because the food, to be fair, is lovely but my god it is NOT worth the customer service. Tonight we came in, the door was unlocked, no shutter down and the lights were on with many patrons inside, and every member of staff literally screamed at us that they were closed. Given them many chances because the food is nice, but they'll never receive my patronage again because of the absolutely appalling customer service. If I could leave zero stars I absolutely would. Horrendous people running the place as of late, zero people skills.
This place is disgraceful. If I could give zero stars I would. I put an order in at 9.05 for my child and at 10.20 they delivered her food to the wrong address. When I rang them to tell them about their mistake they told me I was wrong. When I asked them to deliver the food to my house before I send my child to bed for school in the morning a woman answered the phone with a major attitude, raising her voice and asking me why I was so stressed and tellin me it's my own fault. The last time I ordered from here the food took over an hour, the chips were cold an the "chicken" looked more like a pigeon in size. Avoid at all costs and go to Giovannis instead, the staff there are wonderfully polite and the food is delivered within 30 minutes and it is amazing quality for chipper food.
Excellent customer service. They refunded me when I changed from delivery to collection and when they gave me a hard battered ssausage, they replaced it with a new one, no questions asked. And they delivered. Sound. All in all, fine.
The past few weeks I have been just getting corners rather than chips!!fresh cod has been overcooked dry so mostly batter used to really love the food but hasn't been great the past while. Update!didn't get corners this time got a bag of mushy chip!!very disappointed with how bad this takeaway has gone Won't be ordering from here again
Bought food from Vicenzo's for the first time Christmas eve .. .lovely food very fresh . . nice staff. .will definitely order from here again.
