Our chefs have been working hard behind the scenes to create flavors that make the perfect traditional Indian cuisines. Very disappointing. Firstly, it arrived half an hour after latest arrival time, totalling at over an hour and a half! After calling the restaurant - we were assured the driver was on the way and would be 5 mins, it was more like 25. We ordered 3 lamb Bhunas and all 3 were runny and wet. Bhunas are a dry curry and this was more on par with a broth. There was a puddle at the bottom and the rice became just soggy. If we weren’t so hungry and didn’t have guests over we wouldn’t have eaten it. I’m surprised by so many other peoples positive experiences because ours was far from. It was our first time ordering from here and unfortunately it will also be our last!
Great authentic food, good prices for the quality. Bring your own booze which helps to keep prices down. Fantastic service too. Highly recommended, I been to a few curry houses in the area and this is the best. They also do delivery which is the same high quality meals.
Absolutely perfection. Just had our Xmas curry faultless and so much tasty food. The staff were so pleasant they couldn't do enough for you. Very highly recommended and they do not rush you. Will definately come back thank you so much.
Hi Friends, We stay in Leeds,England. Travelled 25 miles to have our dinner at Village Restaurant Halifax, England. We ordered Papadam and different sauce made of fruits and herbs was amazing. We ordered starters Chicken Tikka, Masala Fish. It’s was yummy . Roti and chicken masala was fabulous. Overall we were satisfied for the distance we travelled. Kind hearted, lovable people who served finally Gulab Jamun. Very nice ambience with ample parking space. Excellent. We would love to visit again and again and became family restaurant now .
Best curry I have ever eaten. Wow! Lived locally for 3 years. Took advice and followed the crowd to a better known curry house with a grander reputation. I have ordered from Village twice in the last 2 weeks. Unbelievable food! Rogan King Prawn I asked for it to be hot is absolutely stunning. Starters and naan were perfect. Unbelievable.
Ordered 2 currys, naan, chippatis, and 2 small glass bottles of cola. Never brought the cola, took over an hour to re deliver cola brought the wrong one. Was also overcharged £2 .This happens every time. Wont be going here again
For our first time experience we found it a very pleasant restaurant with excellent food and service, the staff were very polite and helpful and would most definitely recommend anyone who loves that cuisine to pay them a visit, we'll most certainly be going back there againFood: 5/5
You would have thought the Chicken Tikka Masala would actually have Chicken Tikka in it and not just plain chicken. Sauce was nice though. Better Bangladeshi food to be had in Mytholmroyd.
Really hard working and friendly staff plus amazing specialist vegetarian options seperate from the main dishes. Bring your own booze too with no corkage charge which is always good. Would definitely come back again.
1st takeaway from here. Just the ticket! Exactly what we ordered and delivered by very polite driver. Will deffinately order again!!
