Temujin is an exciting Mongolian style restaurant, serving endless stir-fry, and appealing to all tastes and ages

Story

When the Mongol empire was ruled by Gengis Khan (born Temujin) his warriors would cook thinly sliced meat, vegetables on spices on their upturned shields.

Here at Temujin, you can choose from a vast selection of meats, seafoods and vegetables. Once your plate is full, choose the oil, sauces and garnishes which you prefer. Then step back and watch as your food is cooked on our own 'upturned shields' in our theatre style kitchen.

And the best part...you can go back as many times as you like. Being a warrior was hungry work!

Have eaten Temujin on road shows; first time at the restaurant.nnLittle or no explanation of how it works on arrival. A splash of pens and scorecards across the table.nnTiny plates used to gather your selected ingredients. A little concerned that meat is left out in the open in the fridge. None of us had dodgy tummy’s the next day, so that is reassuring. I wonder what it’s like on a hot day.nnThe food was lovely and the recommend menus and sauces were very helpful. Coke and Lemonade is flat!! No gas.nnStaff are very friendly and polite.nnNo atmosphere and dodgy wall displays.nnWe ordered x2 endless meals - which were not needed. Possibly overspend on our part. Opt for this if you are very hungry!nnThe rice and large prawn crackers are a good addition.nnAll in all, I would go again.
Great food and atmosphere. Glad we tried it. Price is borderline acceptable. Because it's all you can eat it's tough to really judge the price. But an average person eating a reasonable amount of food is going to be slightly on the expensive side for the area in my opinion.
An absolute gem of an establishment. Offering amazing views of the canal. We arrived at opening time on a Sunday and had the whole place to ourselves for most of our meal which was perfect for us.nWe partook in the unlimited stir fry for £23.50 p/p and it was worth the money, but there is also a main menu available. Getting to create your own combinations of oils, sauces and garnishes was fun recommendations also provided, the ingredients were fresh and offered a fantastic selection of vegetables, meat and fish. The staff members were friendly and very accommodating.nIt was a great Sunday lunch and I will be returning many, many more times.
I used to go to the Temujin in Milnsbridge, and have wanted to try this one for a while. Lovely location, with the right seat you can see over the marina. Staff were very professional and polite. Food was delicious and so much to choose from. It did get a little pricey with drinks and dessert but was worth it. Will definitely be going again.
First time visiting and well worth it. The location is beautiful, looking out onto the canal and the town. The chefs were brilliant, the food choice was great and the food was amazing. I'd highly recommend the starters too, huge portions and very tasty. If you're in Sowerby Bridge, it shouldn't be missed.
