Recently, I enjoyed a delightful retirement breakfast with a colleague at The Village Inn in Rayners Lane. The traditional breakfast was cooked to perfection, and the generous free coffee refills were a much-appreciated touch. The Inn itself boasts a charming, family-friendly atmosphere, making it a welcoming and cozy spot for any occasion. Highly recommended!
This is a lovely Spoons and does what a Wetherspoons does well. According to the staff, there are more and more tourists appearing there....not surprising given access to the tube serving the Piccadilly Line. Great staff, good service and quick cleaning of tables left with meal residue.nNow a loved local and will repeat visit.
Lovely little local Spoons. Old fashioned as Wetherspoons go, but clean, friendly and nice service. Breakfast was both cheap and very tasty. Great breakfast.
I visited last month. A smaller 'Spoons not far from the Underground station.nnAnother branch that offers the very reasonable 'Top Plates, Low Rates' deals. I had an All Day Brunch and a pint for £5.99. Not bad at all!nnA Traditional Breakfast if you are there before Noon can be had for as little as £2.99!nnFood was well prepared and good portion for the money.nnAfter clocking up over 100 visits to 'Spoons still open for business, I'm coming to the conclusion that not all 'Spoons are equal in what is offered. Many of the smaller branches - such as The Village Inn - make more of an effort in terms of service, food quality, presentation and beer quality, than many of the larger, more popular branches elsewhere.nnIf in the area, worth a visit. Also do a better than average range of Real Ales too, for £2.26 a pint.
Not the best experience.nService was extremely slow when ordering on app. Drink took 25 minutes to come and only came after being prompted.nFood order was incorrect when served.nFight between 2 men in the pub dampened the mood even further.nnThe pub itself is nice, lovely beer garden. Need to work on service.
