I have complained a bunch of times but nothing gets done.nnThe mens changing rooms and showers are not clean. Pictures below should speak for themselves . Mould all along the sealant and grouting. There are little black flies that fly around the ceiling. Towels left around the floor. If I ever see them cleaning the showers, it's only ever hosing it down with cold water rather than actually using some sort of detergent.nnI often see staff coming into the pool area wearing trainers without the blue covers so you can't even walk around the pool area without feeling dirty.nnToday there was a guest clipping his nails in the jacuzzi. I told the staff member at the pool but the point is that if the place was kept clean people wouldn't feel so comfortable doing such things.nnI also know for a fact that they phone guests up and ask them to leave good reviews on the  'would you recommend a friend' surveys that get emailed round and they will be rewarded with a 7 day guest pass. Meanwhile I said I would not recommend a friend along with my reasons why and heard nothing.nnReasons why I stay: the facilities are high quality  compared to what's available in the area at a reasonable price. And I'm tied to a contract.

I have been having personal training sessions with Ralph for a few months now and I can’t recommend him enough! As someone who had never used a gym I was really nervous but he is really friendly and easy to talk to about any concerns! Whenever I have any questions he is able to pass on his knowledge to me and I have seen a big transformation since starting! I can’t thank him enough! The rest of the team at The Village are great and always make me feel welcome!

I am incredibly happy with this gym. The gym is being managed by very kind and patient staff members. I highly recommend this gym which has great facilities and maintained really well.

I have a platinum gympass membership and checked in to this gym. The staff denied me access as they said they don't accept gympass when they clearly do. the gympass app said click check in and show the code to the staff, the staff said they don't care and wouldn't acknowledge the rules. They get paid by gympass and don't allow you in. My daily check in was used and they denied me access, the manager is a bully.nStaff were very rude and manager was the source of it. Looked like they hated their lives so of course they wanted to make yours worse. Unfriendly, unprofessional, unhelpful.

Have added more gym machines and equipment to make it even better. Been coming for years now and it’s always clean and tidy. Highly recommend.
