Good quality food overall. Quick and friendly service by the team. Toilets have seen better days with hand dryer not working and doors falling off toilets. Pub was clean and tidy. Your average pub grub here.
Exceptional customer service by the waiter, so we'll mannered and went above and beyond to please. Thank you for the hot sauce by the way. Food was cooked very well and the Friday deal for the 'Challenge Meals' was a nice bonus. We had the 'Chic n Mix' and 'Steak Fondue' to share between Three of us and went down a treat. The Steak was ordered rare and was spot on. A truly great evening. Thank you

Great food and great prices. Friendly staff shout out to to Brendon and Jodie. Superb customer service nothing too much and big portions but no compromise on taste. Me and my mum had the ultimate sharer starter and for mains we had the chicken n mix and the Macxcalibur
5 stars all round, from the serving sizes to the food quality and customer service to the atmosphere I can't knock anything A decent menu and very reasonably priced It was my first visit and I look forward to visiting again soon
Friendly staff, great food. One of the girls saw my baby yawning and she ran past pulling the same face as her. Gave us all a giggle and my baby followed her with her eyes. Only downside for me was some of the service. Went with some friends and we both ordered separately using the app but we completed our order within 2 minutes of each other yet our food was delivered 20 minutes apart. I had also asked for a box for some of the food that I couldn't eat but was never brought one.
The salad with the 2nd attempt at a lasagne 1st was over cooked, 2nd was fine I wouldn't feed to a rabbit. The side of chips were cold and we're still waiting for the hot ones. The XL hunters chicken was tasty but far from sizzling and even further away from XL. The only reason I gave 1 star is because it won't allow me to give zero
I've been 3 times before with no issues. However today I went. Ordered food to take out and desert to eat in while food cooked. After 15mins had to ask for the dessert just to be told they were going to bring it out with the takeaway food. After finally eating desert I asked for the food which was then brought out on plates. Asked the waiter to please box it as I had initially requested when placing the order and by now had a taxi outside wanting. After 10mins the food was finally brought out boxed. Got home just to find everything I requested to be left off the meal had still been left on and also no peppercorn sauce and bbq sauces that I had to pay extra for each meal were missing. Usually happy with service I have previously received but not today I'm afraid.
Well. Food is tasty, beer cold, quite clean. However I’m very disappointed with a kitchen speed and food management. I went there with 10 friends, we all ordered a food and some of us had a meal after 30min and I and my wife had to wait 58min for my salad!!! So basicly some of us has finished their meal when we was just starting. Tottaly redicolous to me...
The food was quick. I would say it took about 15 minutes. The chips I really liked. Pepper and salt is needed on the fish and chips. I went to sit outside first but we found the seating very uncomfortable. I would say the outside seating is more for the smokers and drinkers those that don't order food at the pub only drinks The mushy peas.. hmm. They needed butter and salt. They had no butter so that wasn't great. The staff. Polite. Attentive. Apart from when we had finished eating nobody came over for about 15 minutes or so. So I ended up downloading the app to order dessert. A bit on the lazy side but I would of thought some one would of came back over. Just thought I'd see how the app worked. Felt abit weird to be honest. Felt like I was ordering on deliveroo or just eat. If I had to use the app on a more serious note due to the covid thing it would put me off eating out, because the whole point of the app is to prevent people going to the bar to order food. The whole point of going out to eat is the experience right. I couldnt imagine walking into a pub or restaurant sitting down. Ordering and paying through an app. Then leaving. It's just abit weird. But yeah I wouldn't go here again any time soon just because I found the ambiance abit boring. It was chilled but just not for me. I think it's more of a locals pub than anything.
