Can’t believe that you cannot park on this car park unless you’ve got a ‘phone!! Absolutely ridiculous! The sign on the parking machines indicates that it’s because the machines have been broken into for the cash! Well empty the cash out at the end of the day ~ don’t penalise parkers that don’t have a ‘phone!!
Parking spaces are a bit tight for larger cars, top floor is much better as no pillars and spaces are a bit larger.
Loved Totnes. Easy parking, close to town if you dont mind a short walk. Buggy or wheelchair friendly.
Now no longer taking cash, shambles. Long queues of people trying to work out how to pay. Not everyone has a smartphone. Some people gave up and drove away. Is this just a ploy to save SHDC paying meter wardens?
Short stay car park with a short walk from town centre it's only a maximum stay of 3 hours but blue badge holders get an extra hour.
Dreadful set up, spent way too much time least 30 minutes here trying to get through via app or calling, lots having trouble, same problem further up the road in 2nd carpark tried !!! Codes promised and never received to then be followed with YOUR acct is blocked ‍ We took our business and visited elsewhere where no problems re parking and paying.
Short stay car park 3 hrs, in a good location, about a 2 minute walk to the center, reasonably priced, and you can use Ringo payment services.
close to town centre. can use Ringo to pay, shame you have to select length of stay rather than paying for what you use like other. parking. Max stay is 3 hours.
Situated near shopping area and supermarkets. Tariff not bad either 2hrs for £2 50 - if you want longer obviously costs more. Only problem we had was finding a space wide enough to park car, and get out, and tight turning when using access ramps in and out, if you have a wide and long car like we have its right turning into ramps. Otherwise not a bad parking facility.
Bit expensive and can only stay for 3 hours. Can't make these towns out, they want you to come and spend but don't make it easy. We would have gone on the steam train if we had enough parking time.
