Overall, the service was very good. The staff were helpful and the process inside the centre was smooth and efficient. I appreciate the efforts made to assist applicants and manage a high volume of appointments.nnHowever, I would like to offer a small suggestion regarding the entry process. It appeared that appointment times were not strictly followed at the entrance. Some people with later appointments were allowed in before others who had arrived earlier for earlier time slots. A system that gives priority based on actual appointment times would help make the process even more fair and organised.
Very organised! Smooth experience when I went for my daughter's birth registration and Indian Passport. The black gentleman at the reception is a wonderful person.
Easy accessable, parking is really difficult. Metro is better option, 8 mint walk from the station.
Expect to wait a while. I reached for 11.30 appointment at 11.00, didn't get into the building until 12.50. Apt only system. Unfortunately the staff do not keep the applicants in the queue informed too well so some people end up gathering at the entrance, and some people queue. The staff did come out to call out appointment times but you couldn't hear if you were at the back of the queue or round the corner. Otherwise it was ok. Once you are at the door you have another half hour and you will be out if it's a straight forward tourist visa. The website to book appointments is absolutely awful. Luckily I emailed the Indian high commission and they replied to me within two days with a link to book the appointment for a few days later. I think I got lucky. It's a very frustrating system. I understand it was e-visa previously and hope they bring that back !!!
A very efficient service provided by the staff, seen earlier than the appointment and the member of staff who dealt with us was excellent. I did notice whilst waiting that all of the staff on duty were very good at what they do. Well done keep it up! The only minus is that the website is awful, hard to navigate and the application submission is a hard to find place. Tip: take your time, fill out your application out correctly and you have ALL the paperwork required apart from your application.
