I recently visited for my Passport Renewal Appointment and the price I had to pay was 85.44 GBP for a standard application. I had a really great experience at this VFS Centre and the queue was organized in an efficient manner and the staff were very polite. From the gentleman at the front, organising the queue outside to the staff at each booth.nnI booked in for the 8:30am slot and I'd recommend booking for a morning appointment as it is less crowded.nnAlthough I made a mistake regarding the second address has to be UK address Shabnam at Counter 4 was really kind and patient with me! I had gone out to re-print the application form and she was waiting patiently for me, which was very sweet of her. She was also quick and efficient processing all my documents, and it was a really smooth process.nnIf you upload all the required documents online and have the photocopies of the same, you should be good to go.nnHoping my new passport reaches me soon!
I visited the London Goswell VFS office with my husband for his PCC application on 16th Dec 2025. We had already taken all the required printouts listed on the official VFS website before arriving.nHowever, at the entrance, the staff member checking documents was extremely rude and unhelpful. Don't know her name, she was not wearing ID card. She did not provide clear information and spoke in a very dismissive manner. While she may have been dealing with other difficult cases, customers should still be treated politely and professionally.nShe asked us to bring additional documents for printout that were not mentioned anywhere on the official website and instructed us to go to an outside shop to get them printed.nBecause of this, we were forced to use an external print shop unnecessarily. Many other applicants around us seemed to be facing the same issue and experiencing similar behaviour from her.nThis kind of treatment creates unnecessary stress, especially for people attending important official appointments. I hope VFS improves staff behaviour and ensures document requirements are clearly and consistently communicated.

Very disappointing experience. I went in for OCI application, had all documents originals and copies as per HCI website however VFS staff said there were additional documents i should have uploaded. She gave me a document checklist which didn’t match with website. I asked if i could redo the form in center since i travelled 2 hours to get to London for the appointment, she didn’t agree and asked to book another appointment and come back another day.nnThis is truly frustrating as this is 2nd time i’m having similar experience. First time was when i went in to surrender Indian passport. It was same story, missing documents even though i had everything as per website. I spent whole day in VFS trying to rectify and left the place with a massive migraine. That put me off from applying for OCI at that time.nnAfter 3 years i decided to apply OCI and again similar experience. They should really make efforts to align HCI website guidelines to VFS document checklist. They should redesign website, online application forms and instructions, make it clear and customer friendly. This would avoid many people’s frustrations when visiting VFS. I won’t be applying for OCI again, it’s not worth for the effort and time lost.
I recently visited the VFS Global Indian Visa and Consular Application Centre for my passport submission, and I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent service provided by Joy at Counter 6.nJoy was extremely professional, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. He guided me clearly with all the required steps, ensured my documents were in order, and made the submission smooth and stress-free. His friendly approach and willingness to assist truly stood out.nThank you, Joy, for making the experience efficient and pleasant. VFS Global is fortunate to have such dedicated staff.
