I love this vet practice, everyone is so lovely! I have 2 cats with rather complex medical needs and the vets that treat them are empathetic and explain things to me so I understand, they are so gentle with the cats as well. The reception team are wonderful too. I feel like they all genuinely love animals!
My Cat is like Houdini when it comes to getting into the cat box. But once I am there they have a towel that the put a relaxent to calm her calm. Plus is soothed the Death look as well! I have a vet a couple of days before and a confirmation phone call on the day. My cat hear the voice of the receptionist and she knows where she is going. The vets are on time and I have only been once where they were running late. All the staff are into pets and love them dearly. There is a dog waiting room and a cat waiting room which is useful. The shop is very well laid out and the vets is at the back. It is a nice place. The staff are trusting, honest and lovely.
The vets/staff were fantastic. I honestly couldn’t have asked for nicer people to take care of my rabbits. They were very caring towards the rabbits. Answered all my questions and explained everything well. They were so good about checking up on them to see how they were recovering after we brought them home. I can’t fault their communication. You could tell they were passionate about their work as imagine they get asked the same questions day in and day out. Nothing was too much for them. I’m really impressed and very grateful for their fantastic service.
These guys will try and charge you for appointments they say are included. We checked 3 times to ensure the “follow up” was covered by the £540 we had already paid. Then they wanted to charge us £38.50 when we refused to pay they have removed us from their books. Fine by me as we won’t be going back particularly given that my young kitten left with fleas. They also charged £200 for a blood test. I have since taken out insurance and the most my insurance will pay is £18 to take the blood and £30 for the test!! Talk about over charging!!!!!
I would like to thank the very kind receptionist that sorted out a short notice appointment yesterday for my minature dachshund Gracie. I was concerned as she kept yelping in pain and wasn’t her normal self and being very quiet, I called up and got upset over the phone as I was really worried about my dog as dachshunds are known for suffering with back problems so I feared the worst. The receptionist was so kind and helpful to me and asked if we can get there in the next 10 minutes which we did struggle as there was a diversion in town but we was still seen. Gracie is now resting as she has damaged her shoulder and is taking her medicine to get better! I would like to thank the very kind receptionist and the staff at vets 4 pets for helping us out such short notice!!!
This feedback is to thank Mr Paul Gunning so much for taking the time to see Ozzy, love and care. He not only helped my dog, but he also helped me, as a worried owner. The work he does is important and so appreciated. Thank you, Mr Gunning
Surprised at the good reviews as it hasn't been my experience. Receptionists often leave phones to ring, witnessed it from inside the vet and of course at the other end. Not very helpful and don't ring back when promised. Had pets for over 45 years and this is the worst practice I've ever come across. Have now registered with another.
My girl had an emergency and they were aware how severe it was due to having the same issue beforehand and said to bring her immediately and was first seen as an emergency and the care was outstanding! Reassured me so much and provided my princess with everything she needed
Charged £200 for a blood test that i have since found should be max £50 Also gave my 5.5 mth old kitten fleas after a one day stay. I know the fleas came from there as my kitten has never been out of the house nor been around other animals apart from vets4pets. And when I dared complain and refused to pay what I'd already paid for they barred my kitten from ever using their vets. Not really how you should treat animals or or people. A disgrace
Romana and the team dealt with my cat, KitKat with such care. When he unfortunately couldn’t be saved, they showed me so much kindness and compassion. They kept me fully updated during his admittance and made costs and procedures very clear for me to understand. Thanks so much for showering KitKat with love during his final days, I’m forever grateful.
