It's ok a bit run down, but I have given one star because after visiting a number of times, today I was told my youngest daughter couldn't go on the airbag. I would be fine with this if the rules had been updated, but they haven't. See photo manager was rude and told me it was clearly covered under the drop tower rules. Then why are there two sets reiterating most the same points. Will go elsewhere in future.
The kids had a great time, but it was absolutely freezing cold inside, to the point where we saw kids bouncing with their hats and coats on. We were sitting at the tables, and it felt even colder.nnThe prices for older kids were ok, but for young children we had to pay twice - once for the child, and once for the adult who had to escort them. I understand that young children need to be escorted, but charging the escort too felt a bit much.
Took my daughter and friend on the 1st march. Food there really is great value for money. Plenty of tables to sit at. Girls thoroughly enjoyed it. Heard a few parents complain it was cold but spare a thought how hot the kids would be running around if they put heating on. Take a jacket and don't wear shorts like the numb nuts complaining. Will be going back in the near future
**********AVOID AVOID AVOID**********n*****************************************nnParents of children who have a disability and require additional adult support at all times.nnOn arrival at the park, we were told by reception staff that in order for my disabled son to access their facilities, we had to pay three times more than a typical child with no support needs.nnMy son has severe/non-verbal autism and a profound learning disability.  He has no understanding of language- so he is unable to respond to verbal direction in any way whatsoever. He also exhibits some extremely challenging behaviours and is self injurious. To ensure the safety of himself and others around him, he requires 2-1 adult support at all times.nnWe always carry medical reports to evidence his need for 2 carers, although it is very rarely asked for due to his level of need being clearly evident to those meeting him.nn----Vertigo Merthyr price list---nnChild-nNO additional support needs- £12.50nnChild-1-1nAdditional support needs +1xcarer- £25nnChild-2-1nAdditional support needs+2x carers £37.50nn***************************************nThe Equality Act 2010 protects individuals from discrimination when accessing goods, services, and facilities, and it requires providers to make reasonable adjustments to ensure EQUAL access. This means providers CANNOT treat disabled people LESS FAVOURABLY than non-disabled people, and they MUST take proactive steps to ensure accessibility.nnIt is unlawful for service providers to discriminate against someone because of their disability, including by REFUSING them service, providing services on LESS FAVOURABLE terms, or subjecting them to other DETRIMENT.n*****************************************nnVertigo charge children with disabilities who require additional adult support significantly more to enter than a child without support needs.nnThe increased cost to enter relates directly to the childs disablity, and only that. There is no other reason for the increased cost.nnThe child is at a detriment due to the requirement for them to pay more to access the park.nnThis is less favourable treatment.nnOffering a one hour asd quiet session per week- allowing free carers-is NOT equal, when there are 30+ hours accessible for typical children.nnCharging a disabled child significantly more to access your facilities safely due to their requirement for carers- is NOT equal- when it costs 3 times less for a typical child.nnDiscrimination at its very finest.
Not the best experience. Whilst the kids enjoyed they did struggle with the sheer volume of children packed in. Too many children for the amount of trampolines.nFood area, drinks nice but luke warm, prices are very reasonable. We weren't allowed to put two tables together so we had to sit slightly apart as there was more than four of us. Silly rule as other tables were pushed to but they were all full.
