I worked for this company in 2022 and must say that I am shocked to read some of their negative comments. I personally found my representative Henry very professional and supportive from start to finish. In fact the whole team worked well together to achieve the best outcome for me securing a contract with a reputable firm. I would highly recommend them to friends and family alike as they are certainly not deserving of negative feedback.
Venn group are undoubtedly the worst recruitment firm I’ve ever dealt with. They placed an unsuitable candidate with us who left very quickly as they could not perform the job in a way that we had outlined as a remote role. This particular candidate was supposed to be computer literate and work remotely but was in fact unable to set up a PC and we had to send our office manager to do this for him. We arranged multiple Teams meetings to introduce him to the firm, all of which he failed to attend. Venn were aggressive in their response to our concerns and pressurised us to sign off payments outside of our working hours when we had yet to see what work the candidate had completed. They knew our Practice Manager was visiting her sick mother and still rang her at this time. They threatened her and suggested if we didn’t pay the invoice they could find a new placement for this candidate. We stated we had to review his hours because we were not sure what he actually had done. The next week he handed in his notice, leaving us to start again. I categorically say I will never use them again and nor should anyone else. It was like dealing with a cross between a gangster and a secondhand car salesman. Do not use this firm on any basis.

I would highly recommend Venn Group, especially my consultant Tia who has supported me in finding an excellent position within housing. She has been there through every step of the process, conducted preparation prior to my interview with the employer, which of course went positive as I landed the role :- I'm really grateful for all the support, which has still continued whilst I'm still in post. I cannot commend her character enough, very friendly, always efficient and responsive. I'm really grateful to have her as my consultant

I found this company to be extremely unprofessional. Lisa reached out to me after I applied for a role via linked in. Like many of the other reviews here, she spoke to me as though the position was ready for me to take. She requested further information from me at speed, so I took time out of my day to make sure she had it. She requested a 30 minute onboarding meeting which I attended the next day. In this meeting I was told that the job didn’t exist as advertised. That they had someone that was in the role, but that person could only do part time. They wanted someone that could take on a part time version of the role, at a significantly lower rate than advertised. I explained I was happy with part time but not the lower rate, I was told that she would pursue this with the employer. With no further interaction from Lisa, I received a generalised email via linked in telling me that I was unsuccessful. I doubt I was even registered with the company, as I was told I had been, since none of my right to work in the UK documents were vetted. My advice would be not to waste the time of people that apply for roles.
Didnt keep their word and terrible aftercare for candidates quite specifically Jake Seymour. They will protect their clients but will not hesitate to discard candidates whose livelihoods and finances are at stake.Avoid like the plague there are much much better and professional agencies in the market.
My consultant was Owen. He kept me up-to-date with opportunities, communicated well, and treated me like a human being, which was a nice experience compared to other recruitment agencies. The onboarding process was efficient. I would highly recommend.
Very unreliable, do not trust. No matter how eager or professional they seem to be. I was interviewed and offered a role within 24 hours and waited 2/3 weeks to start just for the contract to be pulled through at the end with no real reason after giving me the runaround by Tiana and Louis. They do not care about candidate experience and feelings, just a typical quick buck agency. While I've been completely transparent with them of my circumstances, I am now in a worst off situation dealing with Venn Group than I started.
Looking at the rest of the reviews I'm not shocked at all. I personally would not recommend this agency. I had a man called Myles Argent as my 'point of contact'. Every time we spoke he sounded like he was tired as if someone is forcing him to work? My contract was cut short which is fine with temp work but please believe after they contacted me to let me know my last day that was the last I heard from this agency. Aftercare is terrible. I would recommended **Signature Recruitment** if anyone here is looking for a good agency they take care of you before, during and AFTER!
