Italian Wine Café in the UK serving our family produced Sicilian wines & authentic Italian spuntini.

Story

In the spring of 2013 something extraordinary happened. Two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester to find out that they shared a unique passion; they both loved - and missed - the Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. A daily occasion to share moments of happiness with friends and family.

By the end of that very same year, Veeno was born: a place where everyone could enjoy great wines and the most authentic Spuntini, platters of meats, cheeses and other appetisers imported from strictly selected Italian producers.

Our wines come from the family vineyard back in Sicily where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the XIX century. Since then, we have been working hard to ensure that our quality and tradition could flow from the bottles to the glass in your hand.

We were making use of a Christmas wine tasting voucher.  The whole experience was brilliant thanks to the thoughtful and interesting introductions.  The wine and food was lovely.  Would highly recommend the experience.

Ordered a click and collect for our anniversary, great service and food was great. Perfect for a nice evening by the fire pit with a glass of red.

Great wine and delicious food, service was excellent also. We had the grandisimo sharing board that was amazing - delicious meats and cheeses with some lovely bread. We also shared a pizza which was lovely. We will definitely visit Veeno if we return to Leeds.

Excellent food, staff were great. And they are open on Sunday when most other places are not. Highly recommended

Loved the atmosphere, great prices and attentive staff! Ordered a platter to share with friends and the food was divine. Were very accommodating to my dietary requirements - had gluten free crackers separately for me!

If you're a student only go there if you've booked a Wine tasting class, otherwise they will charge you £20 for 2 glasses of wine... Okay venue for what it is
