We have been twice recently, once for breakfast and once for a late decision dinner with our grand-dog in tow. On both occasions we were greeted with enthusiasm and made to feel very welcome. The food was very good on both visits. Particularly the breakfast on the Saturday morning. Well done to the hardworking staff for making sure we were well catered for.
We had a lovely lunch today at the Vauxhall my husband had the smothered chicken and I had the pan fried salmon both meals were delicious with generous portions Mary-Ann and Josh are always so welcoming and cheerful and very professional. I would thoroughly recommend the Vauxhall it has a lovely atmosphere there is a good selection of drinks and the food is always first class and reasonably priced. Large carpark at the rear is ideal and the pub is dog friendly so a great place to meet up with friends.
We were staying at the premier inn next door and fancied some late lunch.nWe booked a table however when we turned up it may have been okay to not book as it was fairly quiet but it was midweek.nReally enjoyed the cute interior and dried flowers.nStaff were super friendly and very attentive, cannot fault the service.nWe both ordered burgers which were super yummy! One beef and one chicken. Would certainly eat here again if we stayed back at the premier inn.
Food amazing such helpfully and friendly staff and a nice pub feeling great to pop in for some food or maybe a sneaky pint in there beautiful garden
Went here today at lunchtime with a few family members celebrating a baby shower. The food was amazing, waited no longer than 15 minutes the service was excellent, very friendly. We was even given a bottle of prosecco for after baby had arrived on the house. Very happy and would highly recommend. Will be going back!
